Airline Condor had a really good 2023, at least when it comes to punctuality. In fact, Condor topped the charts when it comes to the airlines with the least flight disruptions.

It continues to offer reasonable reliability for its European and transatlantic flights, particularly with the recent expansion of its fleet to include Airbus A330-900s for long-haul flights.

This also reflected the number of complaints related to canceled, delayed and overbooked flights. In comparison, Condor had only one complaint in the whole of 2023 in the UK.

Flight from Portland was delayed significantly (reasons unknown). This resulted in me missing my connecting flight in Frankfurt. I then had to find a different flight from Frankfurt, flying into Zurich first, and then catching another connecting flight from Zurich to Florence. I arrived to my destination 6 hours later than anticipated and missed a special 20 year reunion dinner. No explanation or compensation from airline.

My flight from Frankfurt to Seattle was delayed, departed at 16:00 instead of 13:05 and landed at 5:45 PM instead of 14:50 due to a technical issue (air conditioning issue). We waited 1 hour outside and 2 hours inside the plane. Care provided was minimal—only water and an apology. The delay caused me to purchase extra meals, miss my ride, forcing me to take a taxi. I also suffered a migraine with nausea and vomiting. Plane AC wasn’t still working I was freezing inside the plane, and maybe that triggered my migraines. I contacted Condor Airline customer service, but they referred me to this website. EU (Regulation EC 261/2004): If you’re flying within the EU, departing from the EU, or arriving in the EU on an EU airline, you may be entitled to compensation if the delay exceeds 3 hours. For delays of 2+ hours, the airline must provide care (food, drinks, and communication access). • €600: For flights >3,500 km (long-haul flights like Frankfurt to Seattle).

Flight from Frankfurt to Bucharest had been cancelled. Condor didn't help us to find an alternative flight to Bucharest sent us to TAROM. We have to call TAROM -Bucharest to find an flight in the same day if possible. It was given us a flight to Bucharest with a stop in Paris and we have arrived 12 hours delayed on the next day in Bucharest.

I am writing to formally address the issues I faced during my recent travel plans and to request reimbursement for the expenses incurred due to the disruptions caused by the cancellations. Flight Details: Original Itinerary: 21 October: Toronto to Frankfurt (Condor Airline) 22 October: Frankfurt to Dubai (Emirates Airline) connection 23 October: Dubai to Tehran (Emirates Airline) connection Issue: Upon arriving at the airport and gate on 21 October, I was informed that the flight from Toronto to Frankfurt was canceled due to technical issues. Over the phone and at the airport, Condor representatives assured us that costs for taxis, accommodations, and rebooked flights would be supported. They also mentioned further details would be provided via email. Consequently, I missed my connecting flights from Frankfurt to Dubai and Dubai to Tehran. Rescheduling Details: The flight was rescheduled to 23 October at 15:50 (Toronto to Frankfurt), but it was canceled again. A new flight was arranged for 24 October with Lufthansa. Additional Expenses Incurred: Rebooking my flights from Frankfurt to Dubai and Dubai to Tehran with Emirates. Transportation expenses for transfers between the airport and my home in Toronto (both ways). I kindly request reimbursement for the following: Rebooking costs for Emirates flights. Taxi/transfer expenses between my home and the airport. Any other expenses eligible for reimbursement as per your policy. I have attached all relevant receipts and documentation for your reference. Please review my case and inform me about the next steps for reimbursement processing. Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

We boarded as scheduled. There was a technical issue. We sat on the plane for several hours before finally taking off. We arrived after our flight had already departed, had to get a hotel, and finally fly out the next morning. Missing an evening at our final destination. The airline told us there was nothing they could do, and that we would have to fly out the next day. They rescheduled us the next day on Flight AZS1283 02 July departed 07:00. This flight was also delayed. I planned to propose the prior evening but was unable to, and had to push my proposal. This was a major inconvenience. She said yes in Bosnia and Herzegovina instead.
