A flight compensation and a refund are two different things. Regulations allow you to receive both: a cancellation refund and compensation.

In case of a cancellation, an airline will try to re-book you on the similar flight, but if that becomes impossible, a cancellation refund will be a full cash refund. Generally, your claim would succeed, providing there were no extraordinary circumstances beyond airline control.

If Sunclass Airlines cancels your flight to extraordinary circumstances (such as Covid travel restrictions or a serious illness) and you were offered no replacement flight, you can obtain a ticket refund in full, since your flights booked were not available.

Sunclass Airlines Flight Delay Compensation

While all airlines attempt to operate on time, sometimes delays happen. EU regulation 261 (EU 261) protects passengers in cases of flight delays.

Me and my girlfriend had first flight back from Tenerife South, Spain to Helsinki Vantaa. Departure of that flight was suppose to be 13,35 local time ( actual departure was 15,00 ) Arrival suppose to be at 21,50 ( actual arrival 23,23 ). Connection flight was from Helsinki Vantaa to Tallinn, Estonia. Original departure suppose to be at 23,45 ( delayed flight actually departured after 01,00 ) Because of this row of delays I was unable to check in for connection flight even there was calling to check-in gates, where were zero staff working and Customer Service phone was not answering ( I was on hold nearly 2 hours ). First Customer Services Staff was coming to work at 05,30 am and still no solution, So as we were had enough we took taxi and the ferry and the cost is already higher then the cost of the missed flight, not including the meals etc., just the travel cost ( I have taken the invoices for all ) .
