The crew had no more flight time and they couldn't provided the service. 23rd June flight from Larnaca to London Gatwick W95750 We arrived at Larnaca airport three hours before our flight. Check in opened two hours before the scheduled flight. We received our boarding cards, and our luggage was tagged. My sister Lily was given a wheelchair and pushed through security by assisted staff. After we all went through security departure gate 22 was announced. We waited there for further advice and my sister Lily was taken to gate 15 which had a lift for assisted passengers. We sat in gate 22 and approximately 30 passengers went through boarding but then everything stopped. No more passengers were allowed through to boarding. I went to the desk to ask what was happening, but the airport staff said that they did not know. I then went back 10 minutes later as I was concerned about my sister waiting at gate 15. I asked the representative to check to see if she was alright and they told me that nobody had boarded the plane. Approximately 90 minutes later we were informed that the flight was cancelled at 23.30pm. There was no wizz air staff to talk to that could explain the situation. Eventually we were told to collect our suitcases and we would be accorded accommodation at Raphels Hotel in Limosol. When we boarded the coach we were told specifically that we could not eat any of the food at the buffet in the hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 2am and was told the coach would leave the next day 24th June at 8am to go back to Larnaca airport. The stress and strain that caused us with no food and no assistance for Lily Flynn was unacceptable. Finally when we got on the plane (which took off at approximately 11.30am) we were informed that food was extremely limited and all we could get to eat was a packet of pringles that we had to pay for. We should have arrived at Gatwick on 23rd June 2022 at 21.20pm We landed at Gatwick on 24th June 2022 at 14.30pm A delay of 17 hours. Shattered, tired, weary and very hungry the captain informed us that the reason for the cancellation at Larnaca was that the air crew has passed their scheduled airtime. We require compensation as per advice from the citizens advice bureau for all parties. Please confirm receipt of this email.

The flight was cancelled less than 24 hours before my journey. I was stuck in Cyprus being a university student I didn’t have money to spend to wait for the next flight with Wizzair and there was not any flights for over a week. I managed to find the money to buy a flight two days later with much distress with Easy jet. I then had to afford the next two days which is a significant struggle and practically beg the hotel to find me a reasonable price as it was the height of the season
