I booked 3 flights for family members to attend a party in Gambia booked from October, I contacted Last minute. Com who confirmed up to a day before the flight that my flight was confirmed and going ahead. When I got to the airport I was notified that there was no flight on this day, Also that the Last Minute.com would have been notified sometime before and that it was against the law to still advertise for a flight knowing that it had been cancelled. Flights were still flying but not on the day Last Minute suggested, This has caused me a great deal of displeasure, I’ve had to book a further 3 flights, not to mention taxi fares and missing out on the party.
They delayed almost 8 hours on my flight from Lisbon to Guarulhos and also in the way back they delayed around 8 hours from Lisbon to Barcelona. I had to eat here in the airport, spend more money that I wanted both times
Due to a previous cancellation, I was aware that TAP will not inform about the cancellation so I had to start checking in their website. Then, around a week before the flight, it shows cancelled but I was not informed. They refund the tickets but with a voucher. Now, as I paid my tickets in Kwanza (Angola Official currency) now they are telling me that to redeem the vouchers (as I need to use multiple of these vouchers to buy a ticket) I need to go to Luanda airport which I cannot do. Time is passing and the value of the tickets I need to buy in December are raising. The TAP support said they cannot help, that I have to go straight to Luanda airport but I'm more than 400Kms (6-8 hours travel) away.
