Verdict: "Comfortable flights but delays and inconsistent service has frustrated passengers."

With high marks for their cabin crew, passengers were very pleased with the positive attitude of staff, even during tense situations. Delta was also praised for their Delta Comfort + and First Class seat comfort. Several reviews described it as comfortable and spacious, with plenty of legroom. The staff were also praised for their proactive problem solving and assistance with rebooking in addition to their overall handling of flight interruptions. Delta’s mobile app also drew praise with reviewers stating that it was easy to use and very convenient. But as with many other airlines, passengers complained loudly about Delta’s high number of flight disruptions. They were also unhappy about the lack of drinks and snacks for longer flights even in Business and other premium cabins and the numerous challenges getting refunds for flight delays and compensation for out-of-pocket expenses caused by delays and cancellations.
