Last week, two members of the AirAdvisor team attended FITUR Madrid, one of the most influential international tourism fairs in the world, to connect with industry peers and stay close to the conversations shaping the future of travel.
Held at IFEMA Madrid from 21 to 25 January 2026, FITUR brings together destinations, tour operators, official bodies, travel tech companies and innovators from across the global tourism ecosystem. It is a key meeting point for both source and destination markets, and a place where strategic decisions, partnerships and new ideas take shape.
While we did not exhibit at this year’s event, our focus was on listening, learning and building relationships. The team spent the week meeting with travel and technology companies, exchanging insights, and discussing how passenger rights, digital solutions and customer experience are evolving across Europe, with a particular focus on Spain.
FITUR’s strong emphasis on innovation, digitalisation and sustainability made it especially relevant for AirAdvisor. From smart destinations and data-driven travel to the role of technology in improving passenger journeys, the event offered valuable perspective on where the industry is heading and how AirAdvisor can continue to grow alongside it.
Commenting on the visit, Anton Radchenko, Founder and CEO of AirAdvisor, said:
Being present at events like FITUR is about understanding how the travel industry is evolving on the ground. These conversations help us stay aligned with the needs of passengers and partners as we continue expanding in Spain and across other key markets.
Events like FITUR are an important part of how we expand our reach thoughtfully. By staying close to industry developments and engaging directly with stakeholders, we strengthen our ability to support passengers across new markets while continuing to build solutions that are practical, transparent and user-focused.
A big thank you to everyone who took the time to connect with us in Madrid. We look forward to continuing those conversations.
