בעקבות עיכוב של 4.5 שעות בבן גוריון, פספסנו את טיסת הקונקשן בברצלונה. סגרנו 3 לילות ראשונים בליסבון, אבל את הלילה הראשון העברנו בשדות תעופה במקום . בחופשה ועל הלילה הזה נבקש החזר מאל על סך הכל העברנו 18 שעות בשדות תעופה במקום 7 שעות בלבד

The flight was scheduled to 12:10 but there was a delay of almost 8 hours. I arrived at Ben Gurion airport at 1:00am on the 7/25/2024 instead of 16:30 on the 7/24/2024. We were told that there was an operational problem and that the sky was busy. I’m a MD and was scheduled to see patients at 08:00 on the 7/25/2024. This night I slept only 3 hours and couldn’t concentrate in my work.

Boarding proceeded normally and on time. The plane began to take off, and then the pilot stopped the takeoff for reasons which were never adequately explained. The plane returned to the terminal, refueled (a process which took hours, during which we stayed on the plane), and began takeoff again, and again the pilot stopped the takeoff. Finally, after four hours in the airplane with no A/C and little water, we disemarked. We waited in the terminal for another hour or so, and were then bused to a hotel, where we arrived at around 4 AM. The flight was rescheduled (under a different flight number, but with the same plane and passengers) for the afternoon. I took a taxi at my own expense from the hotel to the airport. The rescheduled flight had no issues. I contacted the airline shortly after the flight (in July 2022) and they refused to provide compensation as they argued that they should not be liable for a technical malfunction, though they did offer a voucher (an offer I did not accept). I contacted them again about a month ago, citing legal sources to support my claim for compensation. They have not responded.
