Norwegian Air Shuttle Contact Information: Phone, Email, Tips for Complaints

Have you had a bad experience with Norwegian Air Shuttle? Lots of things can go wrong, and even the best airlines can slip up occasionally. If or when this happens to you, the best thing to do is contact the airline and submit a complaint. On the other hand, you might only be looking for a way to contact the airline. Either way, you’ll find the Norwegian Air Shuttle contact info here in this guide.

Common Norwegian Air Shuttle Complaints

Poor customer service, uncomfortable seats, damaged baggage, you name it and there’s a complaint. But the most common complaints filed against Norwegian Air Shuttle have to do with flight interruptions and baggage mishandling.

Luckily, if you happen to be travelling to, from, or within Europe, your rights are protected by Regulation 261. Based on these rules, you can get compensation if you have a delay or cancellation with Norwegian Air that makes you 3 or more hours late at your final stop.

If your luggage was delayed, damaged, or lost, you can also receive compensation and reimbursement because of the rules outlined in the Montreal Convention. The takeaway here is that making a formal complaint is definitely worthwhile.

Some correspondence must be done in writing, and if the airline’s contact forms don’t match your concern, then email is certainly the next best option. You can reach the airline at the following email address, but allow several days to a week for an agent to respond.

Tips for Submitting a Successful Complaint

  1. Submitting your complaint as soon as possible is crucial if you want a favourable outcome. If you contact Norwegian as soon as you get home, the details will still be fresh in your mind.
  2. Get your documents and travel details organized before you begin. Gather information about your flight including travel documentation, booking numbers, photos, boarding passes and anything else pertaining to the issue at hand.
  3. Clearly explain your case and state your desired outcome clearly. You can also add that you’re familiar with Regulation EU261, protecting your passenger rights.
  4. Make sure you provide your current contact details. Give them two ways to get in touch with you.

Tyvärr har jag blivit sjuk och kommer troligtvis inte att kunna genomföra resan. Failure to provide paid for extra leg room

Jan 18, 2025
At the airport 2 hours before the departure of the flight I purchased two seats at the front of the cabin for the extra leg room, specifically 2D and 2E, which were showing as available in the picture at the log-in kiosk. The total cost for the two seats was NOK 338. However when boarding the plane We noticed that 2D and 2E were not extra leg room seats but regular seats. On this particular aircraft the front row was not 2 as showing on the plan in the airport but 1. The cabin crew told me that it was possible the the type of aircraft might have been shaped at short notice, but in anycase the extra leg room seats, ie row 1 were already occupied. I would therefore like the NOK 338 to be refunded to my credit card.

Influence by other flights

Dec 27, 2024
Flight was supposed to leave at 14:45. They boarded everyone. Upon completion of boarded we were informed that there is delay in departure. They boarded everyone in attempt to be ready for an earlier flight. The new flight time was after 17:30. The airline did not provide food or water to passengers.

Weather conditions

Dec 8, 2024
Flight arrived with a delay of more than three hours, which meant landing in Copenhague past midnight. At the airport the airline said bad weather was the reason of its original delay and announced a new departing time but the delay was later extended because of technical checks to the plane, and once again because the plane missed its latest allocated spot. This mean, the delay just because of bad weather wouldn’t have surpassed the three hours. To note, the airline didn’t offer food, water or vouchers, nor transport support on arrival despite the late hour.
