Have you had a bad experience with Norwegian Air Shuttle? Lots of things can go wrong, and even the best airlines can slip up occasionally. If or when this happens to you, the best thing to do is contact the airline and submit a complaint. On the other hand, you might only be looking for a way to contact the airline. Either way, you’ll find the Norwegian Air Shuttle contact info here in this guide.

Common Norwegian Air Shuttle Complaints

Poor customer service, uncomfortable seats, damaged baggage, you name it and there’s a complaint. But the most common complaints filed against Norwegian Air Shuttle have to do with flight interruptions and baggage mishandling.

Luckily, if you happen to be travelling to, from, or within Europe, your rights are protected by Regulation 261. Based on these rules, you can get compensation if you have a delay or cancellation with Norwegian Air that makes you 3 or more hours late at your final stop.

If your luggage was delayed, damaged, or lost, you can also receive compensation and reimbursement because of the rules outlined in the Montreal Convention. The takeaway here is that making a formal complaint is definitely worthwhile.

Tips for Submitting a Successful Complaint

  1. Submitting your complaint as soon as possible is crucial if you want a favourable outcome. If you contact Norwegian as soon as you get home, the details will still be fresh in your mind.
  2. Get your documents and travel details organized before you begin. Gather information about your flight including travel documentation, booking numbers, photos, boarding passes and anything else pertaining to the issue at hand.
  3. Clearly explain your case and state your desired outcome clearly. You can also add that you’re familiar with Regulation EU261, protecting your passenger rights.
  4. Make sure you provide your current contact details. Give them two ways to get in touch with you.

There was a medical problem on board and we had to land urgently in London, UK, where we waited for 5 hours without any information, without food and without water, and then we had to wait for another 7 hours at the airport without any information about what was going to happen in the next hours and when we were going to fly. Finally, the delay was 14 hours.

We were delayed over 4h in Växjö Airport. The delay was announced at the same time the flight was supposed to leave. We were suddenly crammed in a very small waiting area with no places to sit or rest. It was an extremely distressing experience.
