MON 12/16: Finally arrived in Nice. Spent an hour with baggage about my bag. They opened a case for me. My file number is NCEAZ13178 They provided me with: 1. Toothbrush 2. Toothpaste 3. 2 Cotton rounds 4. 2 Q-tips 5. Comb 6. Nail file (thank goodness!) Needed the following provisions: 1. Underwear 2. Pajamas 3. Sweater (evenings were mild; didn’t need a jacket yet) 4. T-shirt (black) 5. Leggings TUE 12/17: Heard they located my luggage but no ETA on arrival. The link provided did not resolve to an active website.  To get me through the next few days, I Needed the following provisions: 1. Conditioner 2. Feminine products 3. Hair gel WED 12/18: as of 23:30, have not heard from airline about my baggage. Weather turned; cold and rainy. Without news of my luggage having been located, I purchased the following to get me through the next 3-4 days: 1. Lightweight jacket 2. 2 pairs of (inexpensive) jeans 3. T-shirt (white) 4. A pair of (inexpensive) pants for attending dinners 5. Underwear 6. Socks 7. Bra 8. Running shorts 9. Contacts. I want to the local optometrist and explained my situation, and they gave me a week’s worth for free! THU 12/19 - No word on my luggage. Needed to buy luggage, so I bought a small luggage (smaller than the one I checked in) at the only luggage store in Cannes so I could pack my things for the flight home. FRI 12/20 I am flying out this day. My luggage had not arrived, nor any word of where it is by the time I flew home.

Because the flight was delayed for more than 3 hours and I could not even find a person from Air Canada to help me or to give me any kind of assistance or a coupon for food or for the lounge area if I need to talk with someone I have to leave the transit area and go to the departure area but I have an Egyptian passport that does not allow me to enter Italy but on the other hand no one cared about the situation.

ITA partnered with Delta to fly us from DCA to DEL. We were ok with the size of our carry on luggage flying from DCA to DEL. But we were denied the same treatment by ITA staff who claimed our luggage was too big as we tried to fly with the same luggage from DEL to DCA. Fiery leg of the trip was with ITA. We saw plenty of passengers at the gate with the same size luggage. As US passport holders we were discriminated and overcharged. Complete racket. Do not fly ITA. Last time we flew ITA 23 years ago they used to smoke on the plane next to my 18-month old. Not much changed. Flight attendants are very rude and make you feel as if they are doing you a favor by serving you. The person in DEL who discriminated us was Arpita Artang. Sorry for misspelling her name.

Put on a overbooked list, refused seat on paid ticket. Put on another flight which caused me to miss my following flights, needed to stay at a hotel and incur extra baggage fees. Arrived at roughly 9pm, 3 hours after my next flight was supposed to depart.
