  • Unhelpful Customer Service: If you are unhappy with any aspect of your Malaysia Airlines experience, a complaint may elicit some form of compensation like vouchers or other discounts.

Malaysia Airlines Complaints: Before You Begin

Airlines receive countless complaints, so if you leave out any information, you probably won’t get your desired outcome. As such, here are some things to consider.

  1. Check and double check your contact details so that the carrier can easily get in touch.
  2. Gather all your booking details and travel documents like your boarding pass, baggage tags, and anything else to support your claim.
  3. Take notes and photos. Taking pictures of information boards in the airport or screenshots for airline notifications can come in handy. For damaged luggage, photos can make all the difference in the compensation claim.
  4. Provide details about your incident. Infact, the more the better.
  5. State your expectations in order to resolve the Malaysia Airline complaint to your liking.

Problems at airport

Aug 13, 2024
We were delayed by 3 1/2 hours meaning I missed my connecting flight, however I was put on another connecting flight, but my 20 hour journey turned into a 35 hour. I arrived at my final destination at 2am on the 14th August. They told us that the crew needed landing time so the flight was delayed. They gave us a £15 food voucher. It meant I had to miss half a day at work!
