No reason given
the airline canceled the flight 3 days before departure without giving any explanation and when we contacted the third party booking site for changing the tickets, they replied with unsuccessful attempts. and since the tickets were booked with the third party site, the airline refused to talk to us or provide any assistance. we need to book new flights ourselves last minute, and the prices were 3 times higher than the originals.- Milano-Palermo

Security and passport
My name is Selina Masella, daughter of Filomena Annunziata Falco who is on the flight of this booking. She was due to return to Stansted from Naples Saturday 21st Sept 2024, 12:15 - 14:10. She was denied because she had the wrong expired passport and not her current one. My mother is old and has her health conditions and at Naples they denied her access tot he flight. My complaint however is that though it would be the passengers responsibility, my mother is old and has her health condition as ex Cancer patient, diabetic, has heart condtion and suffers with anxiety and migraines. It was a common mistake on her seperate Outbund flight that she did not pick up her valid passport. However, YOU (Ryanair) & STANSTED Security did not check her passport details properly. You all let her through, meaning your checks were poor and useless. Even when she arrived at Naples, their Carabinieri and Passport Control checked and said nothing. So at least she was able to stay in Italy and have her time with our family. This 1st flight was booked on 9th August 2024 (FR1832) landing roughly around 20.25. I personally picked her up that evening in Naples as I was only holiday out there with her so she got through just fine luckily. But no one stopped or questioned her. My mother explained all this with Ryanair and Airport staff but no one was helpful and asked her to wait while they arranged to take her luggage off the plane before departing. This had caused considerable distress, and my sister has had to arrange a FEDEX to get passport out there to her, and also to book another return flight. With this not to mention running low on her medication which could have caused health issues and further distress. This could have been nipped in the bud from day 1 if Ryanair and Airport staff did their job. At the same time, at Naples Ryanair could have listened tot he situation and on medical grounds and given the mistake made, could have arranged for her to still be able to return. My major concern is the poor level of observation and security, but moreso how this had impacted our mother trying to get back when she could have been helped in the first place and pointed out that she did not have the right passport on Outbound journey. You have also caused her considerable amounts of stress and caused us additional costs, that you should compensate for a missed flight, having to send her passport via private courier and also having to book a new single flight. We will be liaising with lawyers and going to the media on the situation. We will be sueing you and Stansted Airport and filing for the above and compensation for the major inconvenience caused and lack of security checks and customer care- Naples-London

We were not allowed to board the plane 30 minutes before dep
We passed through the airport gates with our 11-month-old daughter, 30 minutes before departure we were not allowed to board the plane along with 2 other passengers, we were at the airport on time and in front of the boarding gate, the gate was closed in our face and we were refused flight for unknown reasons... it wasnβt to late ! My wife and our 11-month-old child burst into tears from helplessness because we had a planned flight to Krakow and many other things related to this flight (car rental, etc.). We have been traveling with Ryanair for 15 years and have never had such a situation. The flight attendants saw that we were present because we passed through the main gates and were on time to board the plane. It is absurd what happened to us, we were forced to buy new tickets worth 430 euros to go to Poland with a stopover in Amsterdam. We are asking for our case to be considered as soon as possible, we are very disappointed and let down by the lack of humanity and lack of any respect and rights of passengers and people.- Toulouse-Krakow

Additional Fee for Oversized Baggage
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience I had while travelling with your airline. The issue occurred during my flight FR1925 on 31 August 2024, which departed at 8:20 am from Dublin. Despite my suitcase fitting into your measuring box, the ground staff informed me that it was one centimetre too large. The agent checking my luggage stated that the beginning of the yellow tape on the measuring box should be aligned with the suitcase, not the middle. I found this explanation quite perplexing, as I believe a box where the luggage is inserted from the top would be a much clearer way to ascertain whether the size complies with regulations. When I pointed out that I had travelled with Ryanair on numerous occasions without any issues regarding the size of my luggage, the staff member dismissively replied that βit did not matter and that although I might have flown a hundred times before, I would have to pay this timeβ. I am confident that my suitcase was within the allowed dimensions. However, that is not my main concern. I would like to understand why I was charged twice for the same item. Initially, I paid for the suitcase as cabin baggage, and then I was required to pay again for it to be checked in. This constitutes being charged twice for the same service. In light of this, I kindly request a refund of β¬75 or an adjustment reflecting the price difference for a ticket without cabin baggage. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response. Yours sincerely, Marian OliΕski

Dublin. Gate closed
Was at the boarding gate and needed the bathroom. When I returned the gate was closed at 4.03pm the plane was still in the tarmac and passengers where quing to enter plane in the tarmac. I was told they wouldn't open the gate for me to board. And the last at the customer desk was so rude . She was chewing gum and told me I had an attitude problem and deserved to miss my flight. When I asked what her name was she refused to give it to me. Her ID page was no where to be seen. She told me Ryanair no longer announce that the gate is closing. I ended up missing 2 days of my holiday and had to pay 100 euro for a flight on the 11th September. And on the 11 th of September people where arriving when the gate was closed and the staff where kind enough to let them on the plane? It was disgusting behavior from ur staff member to ever tell a passenger they did deserve to miss a flight.- Dublin-Bourgas

Lack of respect, poor attention of check in employee (male)
Male employee no. 133446 at check in was very disrespectful and denied his name or ID for me to submit a formal claim. There was an argument regarding thecheck in where both of us were technically right but instead of calling his superior as we requested to clear up the situation he was very disrespectful and it ended up in all of us shouting. Technical problems
The Ryanair website does not accept that there was a long delay on the outbound flight FR4495 on 04-OCT-23, and so do not accept a case for compensation. The flight was initially delayed for 1 hour by air traffic restrictions. But after 1 hour, the plane accelerated for take off, and then braked hard on the runway to abort take off. This happened twice, and the flight finally arrived at Stansted 12 hours late at 00:55.- Trapani-London

Inappropriate Treatment During Check-in
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the inappropriate and distressing treatment I experienced during the check-in process at Marrakesh Airport on the 17th of September 2024 for flight FR 4391 from Marrakesh to Lisbon. My booking reference (PNR) is ZK6HQY. At the time of check-in, I was in a very fragile state of health, having just received medical assistance at the airport due to severe panic attacks and low blood pressure. Despite my condition being evident, as I was in a wheelchair and the check-in staff was fully aware of my health situation, I was subjected to verbal mistreatment and intimidation by the staff working at check-in counter 6. The staff wrongfully charged me for my cabin bag at the gate, despite the fact that it was fully compliant with Ryanairβs baggage policy and fit within the required size limits. I have been traveling with this same bag for years with Ryanair and have never had any issues, nor have I ever been charged for it. The treatment I received in this instance was unacceptable and appeared to be a deliberate attempt to take advantage of my vulnerable condition. In addition to the wrongful baggage charge, the behavior of the staff was extremely aggressive and unprofessional. I was shouted at and threatened while I was sitting in a wheelchair, feeling unwell. In an attempt to document this mistreatment, I recorded a video as evidence, but I was forced to delete it under threat from the staff. I believe that this demand to delete my recording was unlawful, as it is within my rights to document any mistreatment, especially when it concerns my own safety and well-being. The staffβs behavior severely exacerbated my health condition. I felt faint, my blood pressure was already dangerously low (84), and I experienced another panic attack during the interaction. The stress of this situation could have caused me even more serious health complications, yet the staff seemed completely indifferent to the impact of their actions on my health. They not only forced me to pay for the luggage unjustly but also tried to prevent me from boarding the flight unless I complied with their demands. I have never been so mistreated or frightened while traveling, and this experience has left me deeply traumatized.- Marrakech-Lisbon

Charged 75 euro for prepaid carry-on bag at boarding time
We were travelling to LPA on September 10th and had booked priority (one carry-on and one personal item). When my wife had scanned her boarding pass she was told she needed to 'size' her carry-on bag. This shouldn't have been a problem as she has travelled with this back on Ryanair multiple times without issue. The check-in agent, who was repeatedly checking her phone for personal messages, between checking passports, was the one who decided the bag needed to be sized. With the case sitting snugly within the sizing rack, she was then informed it was 'too big' and that she would have to check the back in, at a cost of 75 euro. She remonstrated but the (very unprofessional) staff refused to see reason. She was told that the bag had to be able to fit under the seat in front, which didn't even apply in our case as we had booked exit rows (where all bags must be stowed in the overhead locker). Seeing little option but to pay the 75 euro (or be refused boarding), we then proceeded to remove the check-in tag ourselves and bring the back on-board anyway. The cabin crew saw no issue with the bag. The bag in question is a hard shell suitcase, well within the limits defined on the Ryanair website, and has been on many Ryanair flights in the past. Unfortunately in this case we suspect some racial profiling took place. My wife is not Irish and her passport had already been checked, so the check-in agent knew her nationality. There was no other logical reason to single her out. It has left a bad taste for us to even suspect racism was a factor in this situation, but that is the feeling we have. I have the receipt for the 75 euro that was paid. I have a photo of my wife's back alongside mine (which is, incidentally, bigger) in the overhead storage. I also have a photo of my wife's suitcase alongside mine. I would like to formally follow this up but can't find any way to do so, so I may try contacting the media with my story.- Dublin-Gran Canaria

Rescheduled flight
I received a strange email from Ryanair giving me helpful information on my flight from Stansted to Malaga, despite it not being until next June. I then noticed the departure time had changed from 6.20 to 16.50. This is a huge change and totally unnecessary as there is a flight being offered at 6.55. Such a huge change will lose us a whole day and mean with a long drive in Spain we will not get to our accomodation until after midnight. I had a very unhelpful chat to request Ryanair change the flight to 6.55 but was told they would not do this and that I should contact them again 90 days before the flight. I do not to wait that long, as I do not want the stress and the worry that when I do contact them Ryanair will claim this is my choice and charge me to change or that the 6.55 flight will be full, I should have been allowed to change as their own website states: Request to be re-routed, under comparable transport conditions, to your final destination at your earliest opportunity or at a later date at your convenience, subject to availability; Change your flight to new times/dates on the same route for free; Clearly they sold us seats on a flight that did not exist, but then they realised just a week later they should have transferred us to the 6.55 flight. I am also extremely unhappy that when I asked in the chat for this to be raised as a complaint the call agent refused and finally sent me a false link. When I asked for a copy of the transcript this was also refused claiming the system did not allow it. In fact it seems Ryanair does everything in its power to stop people complaining. I then tried to ring but was cut off as my flight was more than 30 days away. It is impossible to email them and there is no option to raise a complaint. I feel we are being treated appalling by Ryanair and left totally helpless in this situation, with Ryanair knowingly breaking all their own terms and conditions. But where do we go from here?- London-Malaga

Unprofessional staff members
Hi upon your flight today on our way home from Corfu. 22.50 flight 4 staff members were aboard. Two of your staff members that were positioned at the front of the aircraft were great. But the two at the rear of the plain didnβt do your service very well. Many of the people on the plane were trying to sleep only to be woken by the constant laughing from your female and male staff member from the rear of the plane where the food is prepared. Then to go on trying to give instructions over the intercom constantly laughing instructions were not made clear. Playing music from a mobile device and YouTube videos from the food prep area at the rear. I thought all mobiles had to be switched into plane mode. I just feel these two members of staff were very immature and very unprofessional this lead to a fair few comments from your other customers.- Corfu-Birmingham

Baggage
I purchased a 10 kg baggage for in the hold so I checked in bag of 10 kg, nowhere on the site or on the app did it stipulate a specific size that the case must be checked in bags, I contacted the live chat, and also contacted the agent, and was told by both of them that The case could only be 55 x 40 x 20 cm, I believe that this is not correct but was assured that it was by the agents, this has resulted in me having to now buy a 20 K bag for the hold so checked in bag, I didnβt have a case small enough. 1. They said that my cabin luggage was too big for the cabin, even though it's the regular cabin size, so they charged my 90 euro, otherwise I couldn't leave Marrakesh. 2. The flight was delayed. After we boarded the plane and backed up, the plane pulled back again to the gate because someone was extra on the plane, she wasn't supposed to be in that plane, but they checked her in. So we lost more than 30 min for that. 3. Because all the delays I lost my connection from Barcelona to Cluj-Napoca with Wizz Air. Technical problems
Flight FR6084 on 30.06.0204 had an initial one hour delay due to air control traffic restrictions. Passengers were embarked with this one-hour delay, but with the aircraft not being prepared and showing some technical problems. Captain announced that some electronic device need to be changed and everything was shut off. For almost an hour, there was no air conditioning, and the temperature was extremely high in the aircraft. We were repeatedly told to have patience, but passengers were very affected, close to faint and a passenger had a panic attack. More passengers needed medical assistance, so the medical services were called to the aircraft. Because there was already a 3 hour delay the crew needed to be changed, so we were disembarked and taken back to the airport terminal. All this time, no water was provided in the aircraft and this continued, as well, in the terminal, where the handlers communicated that water/snack vouchers will not be provided because Ryanair did not approve this. After almost 5 hours we embarked again, and the flight left. I tried to raise a compensation request on Ryanair website, but I was not able to. I opened a ticket with Customer Support and the reply was that no compensation is foreseen, because the delay was due to restrictions of the airspace imposed by air traffic control servicesβ. Even if the initial one-hour delay was due to air traffic restrictions, the remaining 4 hours were due to technical issues of the aircraft and bad organization of the crew.- Catania-Charleroi
