Yesterday, we were scheduled to fly at 5:15 PM. We boarded the aircraft on time, but then remained on the plane for approximately two hours without receiving any information about what was happening. At one point, we received an email from Ryanair informing us that the flight had been delayed. Shortly afterwards, we were instructed to leave the aircraft and return to the airport terminal, where we were told to wait another 1.5 hours for further information. While waiting at the airport, we received no updates, announcements, vouchers, or assistance from the airline. By chance, we noticed that passengers had started boarding the aircraft again. We were not informed that boarding had resumed and only managed to board because we happened to see other passengers getting on the plane. Throughout the entire delay, communication from Ryanair was extremely poor, and no clear information or support was provided.

Complaint Regarding Ground Staff Conduct – Flight from MahΓ³n (Menorca) on 16 June

Dear Customer Service Team, I would like to bring to your attention an incident that left a very negative impression on me and my family and that I believe deserves your consideration. On 16 June, at MahΓ³n Airport (Menorca), during the boarding process for our return flight, my family and I experienced an interaction with your ground staff that we found to be discourteous, unhelpful and lacking the professionalism that we would expect from representatives of your airline. Regardless of the issue concerning our cabin baggage, which I fully understand your staff are required to assess and enforce in accordance with Ryanair’s policies, my complaint relates to the manner in which we were treated. The tone of voice, attitude and complete lack of empathy displayed by the staff made the experience unnecessarily upsetting and unpleasant. I have been a loyal Ryanair customer for more than twenty years and have chosen your airline for many of my travels. For this reason, I was particularly surprised and disappointed by what happened. The incident had a significant emotional impact on me and caused considerable distress to my daughters, who witnessed the entire exchange. It was a deeply unpleasant way to end what had otherwise been a wonderful family holiday. I fully appreciate that your staff have the responsibility to apply company policies. However, enforcing procedures should never come at the expense of treating passengers with courtesy, respect and professionalism. These values are essential in any customer-facing role and play a fundamental part in maintaining the reputation and image of an airline. The purpose of this email is not to dispute the application of your baggage policy, but rather to report behaviour that, in my opinion, falls well below the standard of customer service that Ryanair should strive to provide. I trust that you will take this feedback seriously and use it as an opportunity to reinforce the importance of respectful, professional and customer-focused conduct among your ground staff. Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to your response. Yours faithfully,

Problems at airport

Just requested the refund for the flight online but nothing happened. Some error kept popping up. Flight was delayed 2 h at first. Then apparently crew member was not feeling well so they delayed the flight for 6:30 next morning. The tried to book hotel rooms but no availability. I decided not to take that morning flight and booked different flight with EasyJet in the afternoon. I lost one night already booked hotel in Barcelona. I didn’t have any insurance booked either.

terrible customer service, absolutely no information/service provided,

Plane was cancelled at 23.30 and replaced by a flight at 9.30 am. There was no assistance at all for any accommodation, transport, food for the night. Passengers slept on the floor, in the toilets, many crying in distress. The only message received was sent at 3am saying that no hotel could be provided and that we had to find an accommodation ourselves. I had to find an accommodation for myself and my young son while no hotel was available around Beauvais Airport. The closest one was in the nearby city (Paris) and I had to pay the only available transport at that time (Taxi/Uber). I want to be reimbursed for these expenses. The Ryanair website does not offer any help and rejected my claim (despite the message that was sent during the night of the cancellation saying that they would reimbursed hotel expenses).

I was denied boarding on Ryanair flight FR598 from MΓ‘laga to Bucharest on 1 July 2026 despite arriving at the boarding gate on time. No reason was provided for the denied boarding, and I was not offered an alternative flight or any assistance. As a result, I had to purchase replacement tickets at my own expense, costing €751. I am requesting compensation under EC Regulation 261/2004, as well as reimbursement of my reasonable expenses incurred due to the denied boarding

2 hour delay of flight the rescheduled flight departure time and then passengers boarding passes were scanned yet we were forced to wait on tarmac in the rain rather than waiting to scan boarding passes until the flight was fully prepared. Additionally after we were finally allowed to begin boarding we were rushed due to engine stalling concerns and when boarding wasnt completed in the time the captain kept requesting the flight was yet again delayed due to having to restart the engines and refresh the system.

Technical problems

I am claiming statutory compensation and damages for extreme neglect by the airline. My flight was delayed for over 12 hours. Counting my early arrival, I spent over 18 hours stranded at the airport terminal. Originally scheduled to arrive late on Monday evening, I only reached London on Tuesday at 13:15. As a result, I missed my work shift at 11:00 AM, causing direct financial loss. The airline completely failed its duty of care. During the entire 18-hour ordeal, I was provided with only one food voucher worth €4. No hotel accommodation was arranged. I spent hours past midnight calling nearby hotels on my own, but everything was fully booked.Consequently, I was forced to spend the night on the airport floor. The terminal was freezing due to excessive air conditioning, and I had no warm clothes. Due to these unacceptable conditions, I fell ill and caught a severe cold.Since the airline has already rejected my direct claim, I request a full legal review of this case for both delayed flight compensation and severe breach of care.

Technical problems

Flight was delayed due to technical difficulties, flight left Dublin at 00:00 and we arrived on the landing strip at Porto airport 2:05am however the door on the aircraft did not open until 2:11/2:12am β€œ. I have taken a picture to show the aircraft door was opening at 2:12 which was outside of the 3 hours, however a lady a few rows in front was recording it and blocked my view. So I requisition of Ryanair’s arrival time is the official time at which the first aircraft door was opened to permit passengers to disembark. Ryanair claim number 78009036

Problems at airport

Flight FR2723 from Bari (BRI) to KrakΓ³w (KRK) on 29 June 2026 suffered a cumulative delay on departure caused entirely by Ryanair. First, there was a 40-minute operational delay, followed by a technical engine fault that kept us waiting on the tarmac for a further hour. Due to this 2-hour delay, which was within the airline’s control, the aircraft missed the operating hours and runway maintenance window at KrakΓ³w Airport and was forced to divert to WrocΕ‚aw (WRO). From WrocΕ‚aw, we were transferred to KrakΓ³w by ground transport, reaching our final ticketed destination with a total delay of over 6 hours. Ryanair has already rejected my direct claim, citing generic β€˜Air Traffic Control (ATC) restrictions’ as an excuse to claim extraordinary circumstances. Furthermore, standard automated systems instantly reject the claim because they only consider the aircraft’s landing time at the diversion airport (Wroclaw), completely disregarding the final arrival time in Krakow following the ground transfer. I request a manual review of this case. Please investigate the technical logs and radar data relating to the engine failure prior to departure from BRI, which was the actual root cause leading to the missed curfew in KrakΓ³w.

What time did you arrive at your final destination? 05:41 What did the airline tell you, and when? We were told that the runway in Alicante was closed due to maintenance. It was indeed scheduled to be closed between 3:00 AM and 6:00 AM, however, our scheduled arrival was at 12:55 AM (00:55), so the plane should have been able to land. We were diverted to Valencia Airport, and from there, we were taken by bus to Alicante. We didn't arrive at Alicante Airport until 5:41 AM, which was over 4.5 hours late. How did the incident inconvenience you? All the night... Did you miss an event or lose money? No

Traumatised experience, disgusting behaviour

FLT RK 7043 Gate A1 To whom it may concern. On the 28th June me and my family was on a return flight back to the UK. Birmingham airport from Marrakesh airport. Our flight was delayed from 8.20 pm to 9.05 pm. We had a large booking of 18 people. At the airport our family made their way to the departure gate and as we had children and elderly parents we let them go first. Me And my wife carried the children's baggage and 1 of my parents bags. As we were about to go through the gate we were both stopped by a lady with a head scarf. Who said we had too many bags . We explained our situation. but the lady was adamant that we were not allowed to go through and that we had to pay for 2 extra bags. We Again explained that our family had gone through and we were carrying their bags. she started shouting at us and told us to pay. she became very irate and said that we were not with a large party and kept telling us to pay for 2 bags. All the other passengers had gone through and we were left. No other passengers bags were checked. we were the the only ones singled out . She told the staff to lock the gates and that we were not allowed to board and that we had to pay. My wife is absolutely distraught and panicked that we were going to miss our flight and children and family. The lady was screaming at us and telling us that we were liars and that we had to pay. She got one of the male staff to lock the gates, who did and walked away and said we are going no where. We now had this feeling of being held Hostage and Locked in an airport , like criminals. The booking was for 18 and we had 4 children and 1 infant. you can check the booking . The whole saga was made to make me and my wife feel like criminals. She said that she was going to see if our kids had gone through and we are lying about our booking numbers, she didn't do this as she kept on screaming at us and saying we are lyres. She wouldn't give us her name and then said that we are going to pay more money. You can check this on your CCTV cameras. now that we are in this situation and no where to turn, we had to pay and so we said we would pay for 1 bag just to get on the plane. We asked for a receipt and she went crazy and started to sit at the desk and demanded more money. She is a very unprofessional woman and her whole behavior was disgusting. We thought she was behaving in a very authoritarian way and that we were nothing in her eyes. When we asked for her name, she got angry and said OK, you want my details, sit here, you are going no where until you pay again. All the other co workers just watched as we begged for help. We have all travelled as a family to many destinations and never had anything like this happen to us. Please see attached boarding pass Can you respond to me asap and investigate this, as I will also be in touch with Ryan Air. Kind regards Mohammed Alam I would like the cctv checked at the airport on this date

We were firstly notified by text at 21:05 of a delay and vouchers available. There were a party of 12 of us (all booked separately) who were getting information by text and some by email. The next thing we knew was that there was a cancelled notice on our flight on some of our apps, no email and nothing on the airport flights boards at this time. I did notice an email the next day which was received at 22:50 offering alternative flights or refund, but as we hadn't seen this email (sketchy wifi and reception on our phones) we were at a loss and could get no information out of the airport staff. At about 23:30 the manager of the coffee bar where we were sat, aware of our predicament, informed us to go to gate 16. We had to go though EU exit passport control to get to this gate. We were then ushered with no information by staff through the EU entry passport control to the airport arrivals lounge, and just left there! Eventually one of our party managed to speak with a Ryanair staff member who just said 'Find your own accommodation and your own way home'. We were genuinely expecting to find a bus to take us to accommodation and hoping Ryanair would put a flight on the next day. With no idea what to do we booked the last beds in Hampton by Hilton Krakow airport hotel for the night. The next morning we searched again for flights and the next flight available to Bristol (where our cars were) with Ryanair was on Saturday 27th June. There was one on the morning of the 24th to Manchester but that would still would have incurred another hotel night and we would have to find our way to Bristol from Manchester. There were spaces on an Easyjet flight to Bristol on the evening of the 24th so we decided to book and pay for this flight and had no option but to book into our hotel for another night, luckily they had room. I would like to claim for this Easyjet flight minus the refund received from Easyjet, I have added Β£87.94 for this on my claim application (the Easyjet flight total cost was Β£182.57). Also please note that 2 of the receipts (both 23rd June) were paid in cash 118PLN Β£23.65. I also had tickets for the cricket at lords on the evening of the 24th which I was unable to attend and am therefore another Β£120 out of pocket. Points to note: 1. It was really late at night, we had very few options other than an airport hotel as we naively hoped that Ryanair were going to send a plane for the 180 stranded passengers the next day. 2. The incident 'out of their control' was from Bristol airport not Krakow, Why should that cancel our flight when this is a scheduled flight not a charter? 3. The sheer lack of information and help available at that time of night, no consideration that devices may be out of data, out of reception, really poor wifi (all of which affected our party). No Ryanair emergency phone line available this time of night and the information that did come through was in an inconsistent form, some text, some emails, some even from the helpful manager of the coffee shop in the airport! Many thanks

Wrecked Baggage when arrived in Barcelona

A wheel was broken off my suitcase when it came off the conveyor belt at Barcelona Airport. I did try and lodge a claim on Ryanair website but I did not have a PIR (Property Irregularity Report) number so you can't proceed on their site. I couldn't find the complaint link on the RYANAIR site until I got home to Australia. This was outside their 7 day timeframe for reporting so they wouldn't do anything about it.

Flight was due to depart at 16:10, passengers were taken to the plane by bus but not allowed to board the aircraft. Instead, we were kept on the bus in boiling conditions with no air con for over 20 minutes before being told there were no crew to man the flight and taken back to a gate where we weren’t given access to water or toilets. After some time, some passengers were taken back on a bus to the craft, but again not able to board and held again in boiling conditions for even longer. This time we were told there was an urgent fault with the plane and we were taken back to the gate again. Finally we were taken to an entirely different aircraft but then were kept on the tarmac, again with no access to water etc, until 19:45 because baggage had to be transferred from the original aircraft and we’d missed our take off slot. The delay had nothing to do with the weather or ATC, it was due to a lack of crew and then the airplane fault which is why we ended up on a different aircraft.

Good afternoon, I was denied boarding for my flight to Milan Bergamo (BGY) on 20.06.2026 despite my travel documents being in order and correct. The airline denied me boarding claiming my travel documents were incomplete. I presented the following documents at the check-in counter: 1) Passport (PAK) 2) Ricevuta postale (Rinnovo) 3) Police report (Questura di Bologna - Ufficio Denunce) 4) Photocopy of my lost Permesso di Soggiorno I attach official confirmation from the Italian Border Police at Milan Bergamo (BGY) confirming my documents were completely valid for travel and entry into Italy. Under EU Regulation 261/2004, this constitutes groundless Involuntary Denied Boarding. I demand €250 statutory compensation plus reimbursement of my original ticket (€41.83), my new flight ticket (€136.54) that I was forced to book with another airlines to reach my destination on time, and travel expenses totaling €428.37. I have attached my travel documents (presented at check-in and to the Italian border police), my original Ryanair flight ticket and Alternate flight ticket as well. I took another flight with AJet on 21 June, 2026 and travelled to Italy and successfully got entry without any issues at all. I had a very important exam at the University of Bologna (I'm a student there) on 23 June which I could've missed because of Ryanair. I anticipate your response. Regards, Mahr Husnain Ali Sial

COMPLAINT REGARDING TREATMENT BY GATE STAFF – FLIGHT FR8199, 22 JUNE 2026 Reservation Number: T5UC2N Dear Ryanair Customer Service, I am writing to formally complain about the treatment I received by gate staff while boarding Flight FR8199 from London Stansted Airport (STN) to Budapest (BUD) on 22 June 2026. I was travelling alone and was carrying my permitted cabin bag, which complied with Ryanair's baggage requirements. In addition, I had a small lightweight reusable tote bag containing food and water that I had purchased after passing through security in the departure lounge. I use a reusable tote because I prefer not to take plastic bags. At the boarding gate, I was informed that I would have to pay an additional fee because of the tote bag. When I questioned this, I was told that if I did not comply I could be denied boarding. What upset me most was not the question of the baggage policy itself, but the way I was treated during the interaction. As a woman travelling alone, I found the situation particularly uncomfortable. I felt humiliated and ridiculed in front of other staff members and fellow passengers, and the tone of the interaction felt unnecessarily confrontational and intimidating. Rather than being given a calm explanation, I felt pressured and embarrassed in a very public setting. I was so concerned about being denied boarding that I abandoned the tote bag and its contents at the gate rather than continue the discussion. This included food and water that I had purchased in the departure lounge, with an approximate value of Β£35. I felt I had no realistic choice if I wanted to catch my flight. I fully understand that staff are required to enforce airline policies. However, regardless of the policy itself, passengers should be treated with courtesy, dignity and professionalism. I do not believe that standard was met in this instance. I would appreciate: β€’ An investigation into the conduct of the staff involved. β€’ Clarification of Ryanair's policy regarding small reusable bags containing food and drink purchased after security. β€’ A response addressing the manner in which I was treated. β€’ Consideration of reimbursement for the approximately Β£35 worth of food and drinks that I was forced to leave behind. I travel regularly and very rarely make formal complaints. However, I found this experience genuinely upsetting and left the gate feeling embarrassed, distressed and shaken. No passenger should feel pressured into abandoning their belongings through fear of being denied boarding, nor should they be made to feel ridiculed when asking a reasonable question. I hope Ryanair will take this complaint seriously and ensure that future passengers are treated with greater respect and professionalism. Kind regards, Cara Lomax Reservation Number: T5UC2N Flight FR8199 22 June 2026 London Stansted Airport (STN) to Budapest (BUD) misslomax@hotmail.com

I only spoke on the phone and to a mendize rep in person so I have no transcript .. first the bag drop opened about 10 minutes late and was incredibly slow at one stage being down to one agent.. after that the airport descended into chaos with a long division ending in a complete disaster of a security check, none of this I blame Ryan air for, however on arrival to the gate , the plane was still there , doors open and boarding stairs still in place, even though a large number of passengers were standing there the captain refused to allow us to board we could see him seemly having a heated discussion with another staff member he Instead opted for unloading our luggage and effectively leaving us standing at the gate. After this there was no one to direct us or instruct us where or what to do , the desk we were eventually sent to was unmanned, it took an hour and a half to retrieve our luggage and eventually get a number by which time we were told it was too late to be put on another flight.. I feel the lack on contact with anyone from the airline was to blame. Plus I believe the captain’s actions were not warranted. As a result I had to book an alternative flight but I couldn’t get one till Sunday resulting in my missing a night’s work. We use Amsterdam airport a lot and I’ve travelled extensively and I can safely say it is one of the worst organised places with incredibly rude staff . But that’s a different story. Any help would greatly appreciated . Thank you for your time. Pascal

Dear Sir/Madam, I was travelling on this flight, and my cabin suitcase was taken from me at the boarding gate because the staff claimed it did not meet the size requirements. However, the suitcase did fit into the baggage sizer. The only issue was that one of its wheels slightly extended beyond the frame because it is a hard-shell suitcase and the wheels cannot be removed. I have travelled with this same suitcase on Ryanair flights many times before and have never experienced any problems. What upset me the most was not the baggage issue itself, but the unacceptable behaviour of your staff. They locked the boarding gate in front of us and treated us in a very rude, disrespectful, and humiliating manner. The entire experience was a nightmare. The humiliation I experienced was far greater than the amount of money they demanded I pay at the gate. I was travelling with my children, and it was extremely upsetting that they had to witness such treatment. I explained to the staff member that my personal belongings were in my handbag, but she showed no understanding or compassion. Instead, she kicked my suitcase. This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I ask that this incident be investigated thoroughly. I expect my complaint to be taken seriously, and I also request compensation for my damaged suitcase. Thank you for your attention. I look forward to your response. Yours faithfully, Petya

I arrived early at Norwich Train Station and boarded the train at 09:27 to arrive at Stansted Airport at 11:20. My flight was at 12:25 and had plenty of time to go through fast track security with my priority ticket. Upon stopping at Cambridge while on the train, we stopped suddenly for roughly 20 minutes until we were notified that 'the driver will be here shortly'. Another 10 minutes later we are told the train is now cancelled and had to go to a different platform and board a new train to finish the journey. This took another 10-15 minutes to start heading off again and we were moving incredibly slowly for the majority of the time. At this point, we are now leaving Cambridge at around 11:50, five minutes until the gate for my flight begins to close. Upon arriving at Stansted, I went as quickly as possible through security, I asked multiple employees if there is still time to make the flight or anything I can do, to which every time I was either patronisingly shut down or just blatantly ignored. I suffer with anxiety very heavily, and this caused me to begin spiralling. Upon making it to gate 52 as fast as I could, the gate had been shut and I was denied entry. I found advice from a friendlier employee at tbh RyanAir help desk that told me how to head back the same way I came or I could wait in the same spot for 8 hours until the next Girona flight at 21:35. Panicking even more, I was frantically trying to find the way outside as I began to get more and more scared, upset I could not find the exit and nobody helped me with that cause either. I felt incredibly alone and lost. Eventually navigating to the main exit of Stansted, I was able to book a train back to Norwich and find my way to the Train Station below and head back, to which I had to again change trains at Ely. This entire day caused me immense distress and anxiety, which is so unfortunate as my friends are waiting for me in Spain.

My flight was due to leave Gdansk airport at 9.30 am. After 3 hours I was told that it was at least six hours delayed meaning that I would not be able to get home to the Isle of Wight the same day. I booked and payed for a flight for Thursday morning but was then offered an alternative flight for Wednesday morning which I took. I then had to purchase my onward travel from Stansted airport.

Our travel was significantly disrupted after we were denied boarding because the flight was overbooked, despite having valid confirmed tickets. My boyfriend, my sibling, and I travelled approximately 40 minutes by taxi from Tarragona to Reus Airport after saying goodbye to our family, expecting to board our 10:25 p.m. flight. We were left waiting in the airport for over an hour and a half while the situation was being dealt with, causing significant stress and uncertainty. As the person responsible for organising the trip, I had to deal with the disruption and ensure everything was sorted for our group. As we were stranded late at night, we had no choice but to buy food and drinks while waiting. Unfortunately, due to the stressful circumstances and the late hour, we did not keep the receipts. We were also informed at the airport that we would be entitled to the higher €400 compensation, so it was extremely disappointing to discover that the flight falls just 20 km short of that distance band. We ask that our claim and the circumstances surrounding this disruption be considered carefully.

Technical problems

There was a 3 hour delay because of technical issues on the plane. We had to wait for another plane landing to leave Malaga. We first checked in and waited in a corridor for 45 minutes without any information. At some point, the staff informed us We landed in Marrakech 3 hours later than planned exactly (00:35 instead of 21:35) and Ryanair is telling me than the delay was less than 3 hours. So I want to file the complain, considering the disruption and stress I had to deal with. The staff also told us in Malaga that we are eligible for a compensation of 250 euros and we have to get in touch with the airline. Which is contradictory with the email I received from Ryanair yesterday - see attached.

Hi , Subject: Complaint Regarding Treatment by Boarding Manager – Flight N5NHYQ (Vienna to Adana, 21 June) Dear Sir or Madam, My name is Tarek Oudir, and I would like to file a complaint regarding my experience on flight N5NHYQ from Vienna to Adana on 21 June at 05:50 a.m. I had paid for 10 kg of luggage, but the boarding manager did not allow me to take my luggage with me. She was very impolite and treated me disrespectfully throughout the interaction. When I tried to explain my situation, she interrupted me and said, β€œI am the manager here, and you cannot take the luggage with you.” At the time, I had recently undergone dental treatment and was suffering from significant pain. Despite explaining this, she showed no understanding or respect for my condition. As a result, I was forced to leave my luggage at the airport. Furthermore, although I had paid for the 10 kg allowance, once on board I could not find enough space to place my laptop bag. I felt very sad and disappointed by the way I was treated. I believe customers should be treated with respect and professionalism, especially when they are experiencing health issues. I kindly ask you to investigate this matter and provide an explanation regarding the treatment I received. Thank you for your attention. I look forward to your response. Yours sincerely, Tarek Oudir

It’s unacceptable.

Formal Complaint and EU261/UK261 Compensation Request for Denied Boarding I am submitting this formal complaint regarding the denied boarding of two passengers in my booking, Joelma Silva Coelho Willis on flight FR5410 from Reggio Calabria to London Stansted on 14 June 2026. I request full reimbursement of the replacement flights purchased, reimbursement of additional expenses, and EU261/UK261 compensation for denied boarding. Below is a detailed account of the events, supported by a signed witness statement. --- 1. Passengers arrived at the airport on time All members of our group arrived at Reggio Calabria Airport at approximately 04:40–04:45, well in advance of the scheduled departure at 06:05. As stated in the witness statement: β€œWe left our accommodation at approximately 04:30 and arrived at Reggio Calabria Airport at approximately 04:40–04:45.” --- 2. Immigration delays caused by the airport prevented boarding Upon reaching the boarding area, passengers were required to pass through immigration. The non-EU queue was extremely slow, with only one officer initially processing passengers. The witness statement confirms: β€œI observed that there was initially only one immigration officer processing passengers.” This operational issue was entirely outside the passengers’ control. --- 3. Incorrect and misleading information provided by airport staff When we expressed concern that one member of our group might miss the flight due to the slow non-EU queue, the airport staff member managing the line reassured us that: β€œeveryone in the queue was travelling on the same flight.” This statement led us to believe that all passengers in the queue would be processed in time. --- 4. Request for assistance was unreasonably refused I was travelling with a baby, a stroller, a car seat and multiple bags. I requested that Joelma Silva Coelho Willis be allowed to accompany me through the EU queue to assist. This request was refused, despite being reasonable and necessary. --- 5. Ryanair closed boarding while multiple passengers were still stuck at immigration Boarding began less than five minutes after we reached the gate area. Despite informing Ryanair staff that passengers were still being processed by immigration, boarding was closed and the aircraft departed. After leaving the aircraft, Luiza discovered that several other passengers had also missed the same flight due to immigration delays: β€œSeveral other passengers had also missed the same flight due to delays at immigration control.” This demonstrates a systemic issue, not an isolated case. --- 6. Replacement flights purchased at our own expense Because Ryanair did not provide rerouting or assistance, I purchased replacement flights for both passengers: β€’ ITA Airways AZ1156 (REG β†’ FCO) β€’ Wizz Air Malta W46003 (FCO β†’ LTN) Total cost: Β£677.60 (Β£338.80 per passenger) No assistance, refreshments, or reimbursement were provided. --- 7. Entitlement under EU261/UK261 This situation constitutes denied boarding against the passengers’ will, caused by airport/ operational issues. Under EU261/UK261, the passengers are entitled to: β€’ €250 compensation per passenger (distance
