I was verbally abused, threatened, over charged for my bag
The boy that was working at gate 106 at about 3:30 (said his name was George) was charging me β¬60 when I was told at check in it was β¬25 for my bag, I asked him why did the price go up, he said for been cheeky it's β¬75! And if I don't pay I'm not getting on the flight- Economy
destroyed luggage
I received my luggage destroyed after the flight .I registered in the airport and entered my reference cod to the ''the given name ''is not the same as booking. I tried the same thing on several browsers on mobile phone and computer with the different waves of writing the names since two days. All the methods of claim(call center, website and chat) are planed for systematically not working and not helping ) Flight Berlin-Thessaloniki 20.12.2024 FR100.reservation number:SQ8FHW.file reference: SKGFR13418- Economy

Technical problems
It took off at 1.07 making the flight over 3 hours delayed. Theyβve marked the time as 12.50 which is not correct as we was still on the runway! Technical fault was the reason I was at airport for 8.20am we informed by the board after it said gate no will be shown st 9am. About 9.10 it said delay 12.15. I then saw my email saying your flight has been delayed which I received about 9.30 ish- Faro-London

We was told there is a technical fault then we told we took off 12.50 but I knew that would be the case so I recorded a video showing we actually took off at 1.07 making it over 3 hours delay- Faro-London

Staff bad behaviour
On 4th December 2024 I was a passenger onFR 1812 Krakow to London. On putting my suitcase on the checkin I was told that the width of my case was 2cm too wide and i would have to pay Β£50 excess. I was told in a very abrupt and rude way that i should have known better snd could have measured my suitcase to fit in. (It was the same case that i had travelled out from Luton. ) There were other passengers who had the same problem and the unpleasant way which your staff treated us reduced several to tears. We were told upon payment to take our luggage to the tarmac where it would be loaded onto the plane. There was no one to load the luggage and we ended carrying our suitcases to the plane . Loading them in the lockers above our seats. Nobody objected and for this we were all charged Β£50 each. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction and disgust at the attitude of your staff. I have flown with you for over twenty years, with the same suitcase, and never had a problem. In view of this unpleasant experience i feel that i am entitled to compensation for my troubles. I shall certainly think twice before flying with your airline again. I look forward to hearing from you by return Yours faithfully- Economy

The lady at the desk with dark brown hair was very rude
My extremely pregnant wife asked for details about our flight home as she was very stressed, the lady working behind the counter was very rude and abrupt and made her feel very uncomfortable, the other colleges were lovely, just this one individual was horrible and needs to be taught manners.- Economy

Rude , non empathetic customer service assistant
We had a huge disruption with the flight , actual departure time was 1845 , around 7 . 30 advised we can go back to terminal as flight was delayed , given Β£3 each bouncers for snacks , notified flight would depart at appproximately 2220 hrs . Turned up at the gate at 10pm only to be told flight had left about an hour ago and 15 other people had missed . Whilst on the terminal have decked boards nothing was mentioned , checked the app no updates were made and listened out for announcements none were made about this particular flight though there were a couple about other flights . Now that was so ridiculous!! Advised to go to customer service Ryanair and that was the most horrible experience ever , attended to after about 10 minutes of waiting whilist advisor wa on her phone , very rude , advised we need to be fast with whatever we wanted to do as she needed to go home and we have missed our flight so unfortunately will have to spend the night at the airport !! That was so inhumane I couldnβt believe what I was hearing especially coming from someone deemed a customer service assistance , I was very annoyed and asked her if thatβs how she treated all her customers and the next minute she was throwing in comments on racism , I asked why she was doing that she said she knew I was going to say that next !! I have never experienced such terrible service especially at a time when I feel more should have been done by the airline and itβs employees . This lady was very rude , did not consider our feelings and all the words she used in the conversation where totally unacceptable and I am happy to expagorate on this if required , surely Runsur should consider staff training for staff like her thatβs absolute ridiculous and very much unacceptable for someone in her role . Even if she wanted to rush and ho home surely they should have been a better way of handling customers . Helen is an absolute disgusting customer service assistant who I believe should not be in the role she is in after I experienced her service . More should be done by the company and I hope there is CCTV or recording reflect the exact conversation or words said by this individual who is an absolute disgrace to Rynair !!- Economy

Bagaje de mana plΔtite Θi preluate dupΔ la cala la BucureΘti
My name is Esther Dima, I took a flight with your company a few days ago from Bucharest to Paris, I had 2 check in bags which for i had to pay 120β¬ at boarding to take them with me in the cabin as the crew told us, after getting in the cabin the crew told us we have to send them for check in and i donβt find it normal after paying that amount of money for them. Also, the crew told us at boarding that itβs not possible to send our bags directly for check in which is clearly a disinformation. So i am asking for a refund of the 120β¬ tax. I will leave the proof below.- Economy

Check in confusion
This was our 1st time with Ryanair and a mix up with check in procedure. To check in you have to buy your reserved seat which I find wrong, especially when your trip includes your flight etc. On one of our emails it said we could check in for free within 24 hours of the flight but this wasnβt made clear so we decided to wait until we got to the airport. We arrived at the desk to check in to be told it would be Β£55 each as we didnβt check in online. We said there was an option to check in within 24 hours for free, albeit the seats would be random. We mentioned this to lady on the check in desk and said weβd go and do that now, but she said it was to late as shouldβve been done 24 hours before our flight and pay for our reserved seats. She then said to make sure we check in before our flight back otherwise weβd get charged Β£55 each again, so we said weβd make sure we do that. She then gave us our boarding passes where our seats were randomised and we sat 6 rows away from each other, so no different to us checking in within the 24 hour period should it have been available. This was not the start to our trip that we expected and cost us Β£110. If it was made clearer then Iβd have done what we did on the return trip and spent Β£20 on 2 seats where we could sit together. I feel that we have been caught in a mix up between the checking in online process and the lady at the check in not allowing us to try and use the check in option whilst we were at the airport 3 hours prior to our flight. If we were ridiculously late or holding flights up, fine, charge us but I think we have been unfairly treated on this occasion which will make us think about using the airline again.- Bristol-Budapest

First we got delayed, then they made us wait to board the plane for 20 minutes in the pouring rain, then they finally boarded us and made us wait on the plane for almost an hour, then they announced they were cancelling the flight after boarding everyone and made us all get off the plane, i luckily got us on a flight to Manchester but then we had to pay Β£100 to a friend for a lift back home as there was no trains at that time of night, we ended up spending more than 8 hours in the airport and they only told us about the cancellation as we were already sat on the plane- Schonefeld-Edinburgh

Very bad behaviour of Ryanair staff on Checkin counter
Hi, I was using Manchester airport to go to Barcelona with Ryanair on 03/12/2024 scheduled for 18.55 by Flight FR7542. I had a very unpleasant and uneasy experience while I was on check-in desk to just print my boarding pass. On desk I was ganged up by 3 Ryanair staff. All 3 were male asian background who started asking me personal questions like where I am going? Doing live in Barcelona? Why I am going? I did explained my printer has broken so I just need a printout. Then I was asked where is my phone and why can't I get it on phone. When I took my hat off one male made comment on my hair by referring "Masahallah" which I found it bit intimidating. I felt bullied and did gave them idea that I am going to meet a friend in Barcelona. Male next to me looked into my passport and found out my place of birth and said out loud. When I turned around I saw I was on his phone screen on front face camera probably taking my second picture which he put phone down as soon he realised I saw him trying to take my photo with him as well in screen. I didn't say anything because I know he wont let me check his phone. All this incident was witnessed by lady staff behind the check-in desk who was quite during all this time. As soon she handed me the boarding pass I walked towards security and heard all 3 laughing behind me. As soon I reached security gate I mentioned the incident to office on entrance and they kindly helped me to customer service desk on ground floor. Customer services personnel was very helpful who listened to whole incident and went to trouble to get Ryanair duty supervisor named as Paul for me. And as per his advice I am putting this complaint against those 3 males who were not making me feel comfortable. I would like to expressed my concern that my photo was taken without my consent and they looked into my passport to get my details. It can be misused knowing that people can take advantage by using AI. I am worried and hope some action can be taken so others don't have to feel uncomfortable on airport on any of background. I sent email to Swissport as requested but Its been 2 weeks with no outcome or compensation. Kind Regards Sachin Kirpane- Manchester-Barcelona

Change of flights
Went in my portal to change flights but not showing, thus was within the 24 hour grace period. By the time I managed to speak to someone on line 45 minutes over 24 hour grace. The flight was found but not in portal. Re booked at a cost to me ofΒ£368.. due to portal not working. Need compensation as the cost would have been avoided if portal was working correctly. Iβm so angry with Ryan Air. Itβs is not good enough that I have had to incur thus cost due to the inefficiency of Ryan Airs portal. The changed flight was available on Ryan Air web site and would have all been changed within the 24 hours grace period, with no cost to myself. I would like a refund asap. The photos attached show the portal, with no flights available and the other photo shows Ryan Air website with flights available.- Bournemouth-Alicante

Weather conditions
Our original return flight, receipt submitted by Trish was said to have been successful by Ryanair and they will not do anything as the flight took off, though it returned to Dublin due to wind conditions, we were advised by Ryanair to rebook on another flight, additional receipt to which I have attached though we could not get to Newcastle our original destination, so we then had to pay for a taxi from Leeds Bradford Airport to Newcastle airport and collect our vehicle. We were also charged again to add luggage, receipt attached from the first flight and had to wait for the next flight hence the added receipt for food/drink costs. We have attempted to contact Ryanair though as the flight was reported operational they refuse to do anything further. Our original flight set off from Dublin on time, the Captain announced windy conditions in Newcastle and we would be returning to Dublin (this is after approx. 40 minutes flying time), he then announced we would be landing back in Dublin in 10 minutes (they had already turned around without informing the passengers of anything). We were told to leave the aircraft and seek customer service agents, whom then told us to rebook onto another flight and the airline would process a refund once you contact them via phone or live chat and then make a claim through your online account, though as the plane took off it does not show as cancelled and hence a claim cannot be made, even though the flight never arrived at its Destination. It seems this was a deliberate act to avoid refunding customers by the airline which then resulted in us paying for a 2nd flight to a different destination as the one to our original destination was fully booked for the next 2 days due to these issues and no replacement flight was put in place, any customers were only allocated to pre existing flights that already had customers booked on, meaning they filled up very quickly leaving others such as us having to book another flight (much more expensive) going to another location in this instance Leeds Bradford airport, to then incur further costs of a taxi at 1am in the morning (6 hours from when we should have landed in Newcastle) to then take a 2 hour taxi drive to Newcastle to collect our vehicle.- Dublin-Newcastle

My flight from Agadir - Dublin was at 05:45 flight number FR3994 Then my next flight was from Dublin - Glasgow 12:30 flight number FR5563 I flew from Agadir at 05:45 but after 10 minutes of flying the pilot announced an emergency landing and had to return to Agadir and landed there because there was a technical issue occurred to the plane. We landed and they called for an engineer we were evacuated from the plane and waited in Agadir airport until 14:30. Eventually we flew after 14:30 and when l arrived to Dublin l obviously missed my connecting flight to Glasgow which l suppose to fly at 12:30 on the 13th. When l approached the Ryanair desk to help me allocate my flight so l can go home. They acted very unprofessional and rude. They told me that l have to pay β¬100 so they could allocate my flight to Glasgow. They said l had no choice or l should find a ticket myself. I had no choice and l paid them β¬100. I eventually arrived in Glasgow airport at 22:00 on the 13th. I couldnβt get to work on Friday because l had to start work at 16:00. I was very disappointed by their behaviour and their customer service. I will definitely avoid Ryanair when l book any flights in the future. Regards Nemat- Agadir-Dublin

Harassed by Head Gate Agent
this morning, on my 10:05 flight to eindhoven from dublin airport i was harassed by the head gate agent at gate 107. Every single person in priorityβs bags were checked and if they stuck out only a centimeter we were forced to check the bag while being belittled by gate agents for it being βour faultβ. when the two previous flights that i watched board, zero suitcases were checked for size and zero bags were even checked on the flight. I tried to explain that i have taken this bag multiple times and that the measurements are exact. when I asked the head gate agent his name he refused to tell me and proceeded to try and snatch my phone out of my hand after his colleague was saying i was taking photos of him. i was taking photos of my suitcase for this email. after i checked my bag, the gate agent forced me to delete photos of my own suitcase stating βdo you want to get on this flight? iβll get the policeβ , i proceeded to get in line while he pointed at me laughing to his colleagues. i have flown ryanair multiple times with this exact suitcase which is the exact measurements of ryanairβs bag policy and have never had an issue or ever been harassed the way i was. I am very upset, embarrassed, and frankly traumatized. I will never be flying ryanair again if this is not handled in an orderly and respectful manner.- Dublin-Πindhoven

Weather conditions
The flight was delayed by approximately an hour leaving Stansted Airport (London) and then due to weather conditions the plane was unable to land in Santiago de Compostela and diverted to Madrid Airport. After landing in Madrid sometime between midnight and 1 AM we were informed (by a member of staff unaffiliated with Ryanair) that the airline would not make any accomodation arrangements and that instead a coach would come at 4:45 AM to take us to Santiago de Compostela Airport. I borded the coach at around 5 AM and we later arrived in Santiago de Compostela at around 1 PM. I was supposed to arrive at Santiago de Compostela airport at 10:30 PM October 8th 2024 and instead arrived sometime after 1 PM October 9th 2024 so overall I was delayed by around 15 hours. I believe Ryanair knew that the plane shouldnβt have left London due to the weather conditions however wanted to avoid cancelling the flight and being forced to pay all customers a refund. Instead of offering compensation of any value, Ryanair offered passengers a free refreshment voucher for the value of 4β¬ for their next flight. No care was shown towards passengers by the airline, the only measures taken were those to ensure that they would have to pay as little as possible. By the time that we landed the prospect of finding a hotel or hostel independent of the airline was impossible and so most passengers slept on the floor of the airport until the coach arrived. The sleep disruption and consequent exhaustion caused by the journey took me days to recover from and ultimately a journey that was supposed to be quick and easy, and couldβve been had they provided funding for train tickets and a place to stay, ended up ruining my week.- London-Santiago

Complaint regarding the loss of our sons pram.
LETTER OF COMPLAINT Missing Pram β Booking Reference INTMSM Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the loss of my sonβs pram during our recent flight with Ryanair. On Sunday 24th November 2024 we were traveling back from Belfast International to Manchester Terminal 3, under the booking reference INTMSM. The flight was delayed by over an hour and a half, with an original scheduled arrival time of 22:55 but we did not arrive into Manchester until 00:25. When boarding, Ryanair staff requested that we leave our sonβs pram at the bottom of the steps of the aircraft. We were assured that it would be put on the plane and arrive with us in Manchester. It had a luggage tag on it, but when we landed at Manchester the pram did not arrive through the baggage reclaim despite other families on the same flight receiving theirs. In total, we waited for over half an hour trying to retrieve the pram, but unfortunately it did not appear. During this time I left my husband at the baggage reclaim and I looked for a customer service representative who could assist us. Due to it being in the early hours of the morning there were not many staff present. I spoke to a man wearing a hi-vis jacket who worked at the airport and explained that our pram was missing. He informed me that customer services was closed due to the time and I would have to contact them during operating hours. Acting on his advice and given the circumstances - we were travelling with a 10-year-old and a 2-year-old who had school and nursery the next day, as well as my husband and I who had work β we had no choice but to leave the airport without the pram. I had to carry my son with no pram which put additional strain on my back, which I am currently undergoing medical treatment for. I subsequently contacted Ryanair on 26th November 2024 to report the missing pram, and I was informed that I was unable to submit a claim for my pram because I did not get a PIR number at the airport. I explained to the Ryanair customer service representative that I was unable to get this as the airport customer services was closed upon our arrival and I had followed the advice given, but they told me that I am still unable to submit a claim. The person I was speaking to at Ryanair declined my request to speak to a manager to see if we could find a resolution and abruptly terminated the call. I rang back again on 27th November 2024 and received the same answer and treatment. Unfortunately, my son has been in hospital this week with a serious medical condition so I have not had much opportunity to try to resolve this matter hence the delay in this letter. I have since been in contact with Manchester airport who have confirmed that the item is not in their lost property. I explained to them that I did not receive a PIR number due to customer services not being open and they advised me that I need to contact Ryanair directly to resolve this matter. I am looking for a resolution here: I would like my pram returned to me if it is able to be located, if not I would like a full refund. Proof of purchase can be provided. I believe I took all reasonable and practical steps at the time to address this issue and followed the advice provided by airport staff. The refusal to assist me due to the lack of a PIR number, which I could not obtain through no fault of my own, is both unfair and unacceptable. I trust Ryanair will address this matter promptly and provide a satisfactory resolution.- Belfast-Manchester

Hi, Hi, Return Flight FR9948 from Faro to Cork ( booking reference TWV1QG) was cancelled and I've tried to log a compensation form, but the system won't let me as it says the flight was disrupted due to weather conditions what is not true. While the flights on the 21st of October were impacted by the weather, my flight was leaving Faro at 21:50 or 00:30 next day if you consider what the app was saying and storm Ashley in Ireland finished at 20:00 - https://www.independent.ie/weather/storm-ashley-yellow-wind-warning-remains-in-place-as-29000-homes-without-power-number-of-flights-cancelled/a1875871721.html. Also, the flight from Cork was able to return to Faro, so the problem was as we were also told "staff shortages" / pilot not able to fly back. Also, after waiting for 3 hours in the queue to change to flight and arrange hotel, we were told we need to arrange our own flights as we did and hotel will be provided by Ryanair what was not done until 4:45am in the morning. Considering the arranged flight was leaving at 11am it was very tight to leave the airport not even knowing where the hotel was. The didnβt elect my tiny small suitcase in
As I was checking in there was a very rude/difficult Asian man who refused to tell me his name and wouldnβt show me his card around his collar so I can get his name. And showed him again the bag fits in the box. He was extremely rude and had ruined my day. He ended up making me pay Β£60 which I was not supposed to as my bag fits and is the correct one. Influence by other flights
Our flight was delayed as the incoming plane did not arrive due to weather conditions in Malaga. Ryanair knew that weather conditions in Malaga was due to be bad as they had emailed the day before to say so. However, they never arranged for an alternative plane to be made available for us to fly out from Belfast. I dispute that they are not liable due to adverse weather conditions due to the following reasons: 1. They were aware of potential bad weather in Malaga but never arranged another plane to depart from Belfast. 2. Weather conditions were good in Belfast for taking off. 3. Had our flight of departed Belfast as planned, it would have been able to land on time in Malaga, as other flights had landed at the same time as we were due to land. 4. Other flights had departed Malaga on the morning in question without any problems. It appears as though Ryanair are using weather conditions to mask another issue. We eventually landed in Malaga at 18:58, over 6 hours later than scheduled. This led to us being late collecting our rental car and incurring many delays which ultimately led to us missing out on a day of our holiday.- Belfast-Malaga

No Hire car at Gran Canaria
I booked a Hire car for my trip in July and my account was debited to Ryan Air Travel Centre (Β£209) I never received a confirmation email or voucher but presumed that as the funds had been taken a vehicle would be available on my arrival. I checked all hird companies within the airport. I had to source another vehicle at β¬500 +I would like an immediate refund please- Manchester-Gran Canaria

Rude steward. Spoke with likely racist undertones. KrakΓ³w a.
I mistakenly sat in a wrong seat. The person arrogantly asked for my boarding card and ordered me to move to the right seat as soon as possible. I had my seat belt on but he still wanted me to move fast. He didn't behave like this with others. I then realised that I was the only non white person on board. I don't want to make an unfounded accusation, but it did feel like his behavior had racist undertones.- Krakow-Glasgow
