Unable to check in - forced to change seats and pay extra

Cannot check in, saying we have to change seats after they have changed our children to adults even though they are stored on my account as companions with their birth dates. Row 29 is not restricted to only adults,. but are saying children cant sit there which means we have to pay extra for us all to move seats!! I pretended to book new flights and the seats are undersold so they are trying to make existing passengers who have paid for seats and not checked in, pay up again. Disgusting company.

Ryanair just wants extra money !! All excuses are good

Rebecca was very rude and shocking attitude!! The way she speaks to clients is just unacceptable. On top of that, she made us pay 75Β£ for our carryon (where we had already paid extra 100€ for them !) and now I see on your website that it’s from 20Β£/€ to 60Β£/€. >>> This is theft, asking 15Β£=30€ more than your normal fee !!!! There was no reason too as on our way over there was no problem !!! How is this possible !? Just because we arrived in the last people to board from the priority lane), knowing that we paid already for the extra fast track + seats + carryon and now again 75Β£ because she just wants to prove herself !? And we can’t say anything as she says then we’ll just not board, It’s unacceptable !!! Please consider a refund and apologise for her working for you. Being a frequent flyer in general, I’ve rarely seen such things !

Changing flight without enough notice

I firstly apologise for the language about to follow in this email, but it’s deserved. Your company are a bunch of rude, obnoxious cunts. To change a families holiday flight time and only notify them, 3hrs before the flight, when we had a 2 and a half hour journey to to airport, is absolutely disgusting behaviour. One of your employees, called my wife a liar over the phone when she rang up about this and was complaining rude before all but not assisting to her and putting the phone down. A first holiday for my daughter who’s been through some very tough times to vanish like that into thin air because of your shit companies attitude towards there hard earning, trusting customers. We have all the proof we need to go to local and even possibly, national news, The travel ombudsman and who ever else we can go to to make sure this gets put out in the open on how Ryanair have and does treat their customers. Thanks to you and your company of ill mannered, rude, obnoxious employees, we are now down Β£2500 and there isn’t anything we can do about this. All our hard earned money gobbled up by your greedy β€œrob from the poor to gain for themselves” company. Thanks but no thanks. I shall be deterring everyone I know from flying with your company in the future and I’ll be putting this out there.

Strike

They announced the delay less than 30 minutes before the time we were meant to depart. There was a notification in Ryan air app and a later email where they have announced the delays caused by shortages of staff in whole Europe. The flight was delayed 4 hours. In the meantime we have waited at the gate, where after 2 hours they used the gate we were meant to board to another flight to Cairo. The communication was extremely bad, lots of people had no idea of these delays because of not checking the e-mail. The e-mails were sent anyway very late. The flight was delayed 4 hours, we have lost our transport and we had to pay double to get home as we live 2 hours away from Birmingham. Also, we have spent a ridiculous amount of money in Bucharest airport on food and water as the prices as shocking.

We were due to leave Stansted at 19:55 arriving in Porto at 22:20. We were delayed in the airport and then when we eventually boarded the plane we were told because of this delay that Porto airport weren't accepting us as they would be closed by the time we land. We were then told the plane will be diverted to Madrid and we either have the choice to stay on or get off. We eventually set off from Stansted after midnight and arrive in Madrid at 4am. In Madrid we were told we could go to Ryanair check in and show our boarding passes and get on the next flight. We did that and were put on a flight at 05:45 that landed in Porto at 05:55. So we arrived in Porto around 7.5 hours after we were scheduled to. Because of this we didn't sleep and we missed our first night in our hotel in Porto which was a massive inconvenience.

WE have already been successful in claiming expenses, but the compensation remains difficult. The original flight number FR2517 was cancelled and a new flight put on the next day FR2521. The website states this flew 'on time' as so no compensation is due. If we claim or a delay on FR2517 is states it is 'under review' and has been since June. The pilot stated that weather conditions led to a delay (around 2 hours) as we sat on the plane, then he could not take off due to his flying hours being exceeded. We watched another Ryanair flight take off to Luton as we sat on the plane. We were originally due to depart at around 1710 on the 26th June, and eventually took off at midday on the 27th June 2024. We received the following messages: Dear Martyn Dawes, We are sorry to inform you that your flight FR2517, from Budapest to London Stansted is delayed and the new estimated departure time is 18:15. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Dear Martyn Dawes, We are sorry to inform you that your flight FR2517, from Budapest to London Stansted is delayed and the new estimated departure time is 19:10. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Dear Martyn Dawes, We apologise for the unexpected delay to your flight FR2517, from Budapest to London Stansted on the 26-06-2024. As the delay has now reached two hours past your original scheduled departure time, please take note of the attached Notice of Your Rights in line with EU Regulation EU261/2004 or applicable Passengers’ Rights Regulations. Dear Martyn Dawes, We are sorry to inform you that your flight FR2517, from Budapest to London Stansted is delayed and the new estimated departure time is 08:00. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. The airline offered no help. There was a help desk with 1 person trying to deal with a plane load. They were simply telling people to make their own arrangements, which we did. We were able to claim these costs but not the cost of the delayed car parking which was around Β£60 for a day.

When asked for info was told the aircraft broke down and another aircraft from Paris had to come to pick us up. the delay was more than 3 hours and spent money for food and taxi home as no bus were available when landed. they offered a voucher of 4 euro and was not spendable till 2 hours after 20:25 when was all closed. when filed the compensation was told not due to exceptional circumstances.

Charge at gate of Β£240

My family and I went on a cheap city break to Belfast. We arrived at the gate to find that even though we had paid for 10 kg of luggage each we were unable to take our small cases on board. We were then charged Β£60 each (children included) to have our luggage put in the hold. Although it was pointed out to us that there was notice on the boarding pass we have taken luggage on the flight before. I am totally outraged by the ridiculous cost given we had paid for luggage . Β£60 each for 2 children as well. The cost of the break was reasonable and we were very excited but the Β£240 means we will not be able to enjoy ourselves in the same way. I am not sure when this change came into play but it is just a way of Ryan Air making more money. I am utterly disappointed and shocked and feel Ryan air has let us down. I was previously an advocate of Ryan air and understood its business model but this charge is ridiculous and I won’t be flying with yourselves again. Sarah

Terrible Customer Service

I received terrible customer service from a female staff member during the boarding process for my flight to Madrid on October 12, 2024, at 22:55, with booking reference OKTJ7S. The issue began when I was charged a €45 penalty for bringing my cabin suitcase, which weighed 10kg. I had purchased an additional bag during the booking process because I knew my suitcase exceeded the standard size limit for hand luggage. However, the female staff member at the boarding gate treated me rudely and dismissively, charging me the fee without providing any clear explanation. She repeatedly said in English that I had to pay €45 or I wouldn’t be allowed to board and threatened to deny me boarding if I didn’t make the payment. At first, she asked me to check the size of my suitcase, which I did without any issue. However, upon returning, she immediately started charging me without offering any clear reason. When I explained that I had purchased an additional bag precisely because I knew my suitcase was larger, she rudely replied that it didn’t matter and that my boarding pass wasn’t Priority. Her tone was aggressive and condescending, making me feel like I was being scolded rather than informed. When I asked for her name to file a formal complaint, she refused, claiming that she didn’t work for Ryanair but for the airport, and she refused to provide her name. She even went so far as to threaten to call the police if I continued speaking to her, despite the fact that I had already paid the penalty. This unprofessional behavior was unacceptable. Fortunately, I was able to understand the situation with another colleague who spoke Spanish and was very kind and helpful when explainining eventhough my disagreement and stress caused by her colleague. While I understand that certain charges may be part of company policy, the mistreatment and lack of professionalism from the first staff member are inexcusable. I am requesting compensation, not because I refused to pay the penalty (which I didn’t), but because of the degrading and abusive treatment I received from this woman. Furthermore, the information regarding baggage policies was unclear in both the check-in emails, check-in process and at the airport until, up until I reached the boarding gate and couldn't do anything else. Of course when you look it up it is in the fine print, but it is not expressly reported which seems to me to be a scam. However that does not justify the mistreatment I experienced when I was only seeking a proper explanation. I expect a prompt response and resolution to this matter, as it has left a negative impact on my experience with RyanAir service and I would never reccoment it or fly with this airline again Sincerely, Camila AcuΓ±a

Our flight with Ryanair was delayed until past 11pm on the 23rd, which is when they cancelled. No alternative options were provided and there were no Ryanair staff at the airport, no other flights offered. The only flight we could find was from Pisa with EasyJet at 9:30am the following morning. Due to the late hour, there were no buses, trains or hotels. We had to pay a local man €150 to drive us to Pisa airport (3 hour drive) at midnight. We were forced to sleep outside the airport in the cold. No contact from Ryanair and no support. Arrived in London at 12:30pm on 24th September.

Please note the above compensation from Ryan air is the cost of 4 flights not one. So my individual cost (what they are compensating) originally was only €44.85. The new flight cost €133.85 each. I only claimed for my individual flight that we booked from Pisa which was €133.85. We were told the flight was delayed from 2100-2245. Then it was delayed until after 23. Then it was cancelled. There were no other flight options out of Perugia until Thursday evening which was 3 days later. We then contacted someone in Perugia and paid them €150 to drive us to Pisa as there was a flight the following morning at 0945 and there was no way to make it on time using public transport. I booked flights from Pisa for 4 people (I have only claimed for 1) and paid for the informal taxi to Pisa. I also missed a whole day of work which cost Β£240 as I work casually.

Diversion to cork airport

My wife and myself were passengers on your flight from palma to Shannon which was diverted to cork because of wind but 10 min later your flight from Malaga landed in Shannon. When we landed we were told by the pilot that Ryanair were organising bus transfers to Shannon no buses no rep from Ryanair only for the duty officer Adrian trying to organise taxis for your customer. This is the second time in a year that we have diverted to cork and Ryanair doesn’t care one little bit.If your flight had taken off in time not 50min late as most of your flight seem to be we would have landed in Shannon not cork we had to wait for security to arrive before we could leave the plane.Ryanair as a company has to me the worst customer service they just don’t care I will find it very difficult to fly with such a terrible terrible company again regards Patrick Carmody

Assualt and discrimination on board

I am a Mixed race, disabled female. I also have a fear of flying. My husband and my two young children boarded a typical Ryanair flight yesterday for holiday to Majorca. Nothing out of the ordinary, something we do a few times of the year. Ryanair were aware of my vulnerabilities before hand, and as I always book special assistance, as i cannot walk long distances or stand for more than a minute or so. When we boarded, we were seated in front of three very large, loud, people. One was black. One of the crew members was also also Black. This will be relevant, below. The flight was delayed one hour and so many people off on their Jolly holidays would’ve taken advantage of the bar at the airport. Neither my husband and I had been drinking because we were responsible for 2 very young children (1 and 4). We were probably the only people on board with children. I did not notice anyone else. The three people behind us, on sitting down and the plane not even taking off were being very loud and spouting some very offensive language. The F word C word. Sex jokes, toilet jokes. Etc. After we took off and the seat belt signs were released, I got the attention of the cabin crew (a black lady), and I discreetly asked if we could move seats away from these people. I did not want to cause a scene. The lady, laughed at me and said no, she looked behind at the people behind me and winked and then said back to me this is a public place you shouldn’t be overreacting so much if people want to swear they are allowed to swear and if you wanted a quiet journey, you should’ve booked a private jet. She went on to serve them some alcoholic drinks and continue to serve them more alcoholic drinks all the way through through the journey. They Continued to swear and be repulsive. They were getting louder and louder and shouting about that the cabin crew had defended them because she was black and they were black and I was racist. My husband turned around and asked if they could turn down their volume because they were children present. Their response was to ask him to jump out the plane and die. They were telling disability jokes, presumably about me because I was wearing my sunflower lanyard. They were kicking the back of our seats, they were putting ice cubes in their mouth and spitting them at us so they would hit our heads. They were going to the toilet and it was abundantly clear what they were doing in there as they would come back and talk about it (cocaine). We felt incredibly intimidated by this, my daughter refused to get out of her seat and go to the toilet and she ended up wetting herself. This is extremely unlike her. The crew would walk past and purposely not serve us anything or offer us anything from the trolley. The black lady kept walking past looking at us and saying you’re racist, I could get you sent to jail for this. When it came to landing, I reminded the crew that I had ordered special assistance and in any case I wasn’t confident in getting in a bus with those people as I felt intimidated by them. The cabin crew laughed at me and told me they cancelled my special assistance and there was nothing I could do about it apart from go online and make an online complaint. I asked them for their names, which they refused to give to me, and they took their name badges off. I took out my phone to try and get a photo of them and they snatched the phone out of my hand and deleted the photos that I had taken that day, including playful ones of my children I had taken on the flight. They told me that the only way I would be getting to get my baggage would be in a police car and the police would be sending me to jail for being a racist. They said this in front of my four-year-old daughter who was crying asking me if mummy and daddy were going to jail. I asked to speak to the captain, and again this was refused. I asked to speak to the cabin manager, yet none of them would tell me who the manager was. We tried to get off the plane, and the cabin crew stood in the way of the door of the four of us and told us we were not allowed to leave as we had to wait for the police. My children were screaming in tears by this point. When the police arrived, we were given my phone back but they took our passports from us and ordered us to go and stand on the tarmac. We stood there for about 45 minutes. They took our passports to the aircraft. I have no idea what they did with our passports. The Police. Came back and told us we were not allowed our passport unless we gave them our home address in the UK address where we were staying in Spain. We asked if we could make phone calls, and they said no they said if we used our phones then they would be taken. We had no option but to give in to them. They told us that the cabin crew were saying it was all our fault and told us that we had delayed the crew getting home and that they had been up since 6 am and they had had a long day. After about 2 hours I was standing there in limbo not knowing what’s going on, they put us on the bus and told us to wait on the bus. We waited on the bus and then the crew, including the captain, came on the bus and they were sat in front of us intimidating us by laughing and sniggering. But no point that they offer to help us get our special assistance. We had to struggle with our bags and the children to passport control to reclaim our bags. I’m in a lot of pain because I had to walk the distance. We have just stayed in our hotel room today as it’s really ruined the start of our holiday.

Raynair delayed the flight many times from morning till afternoon then evening ( on 8 Oct) and staff informed us that it was unable to fly till 24:00 (9 Oct) without an acceptable reason. We just waited in the airport and very tired and time waste. We were offered to take the flight on next day evening (9 Oct evening 17:35) , in fact the alternative flight was delayed till 6 :30 pm. I only arrived my destination at late evening on 9 Oct. To avoid the late check in additional charge by accommodation (30 Euro), I had took and taxi there (additional cost). This just seems unacceptable to have our break cut short at both ends. We’ve booked accommodation, trips etc so have to still commit to the trip. This was for our mums 50th birthday!

No reason given

On the day of flight (8 Oct), airline keep on delaying the flight from morning , then afternoon, then evening and informed the passengers that flight not going to happen at about 24:00. Offered the flight on next day (9 Oct) evening 17 :35 (in fact the flight also delayed for more than 1 Hr) and I arrived my destination about 9 pm. We just wait at the airport the whole day from morning to midnight!

Technical problems

The plane wasn't ready on time so we had to wait half an hour in the boarding tunnel. then another 15 minutes outside the plane. Then we waited on the plane, an announcement was made after some time that there is a technical problem. After it was fixed, we missed the time slot, we waited some more, then a passenger was unwell and we waited for a doctor - she was ok, I believe she was unwell due to lack of airflow on the plane. Missed the time slot again, waited some more, then we had been waiting for so long we had to refuel and missed the slot again. We finally left 3 hours after our scheduled time.

Ryanair customer service and support is robotic and unsafe

I contacted ryanair about the seat allocation and requested they confirm how they keep my 13 year old safe on a flight when they don’t know who she is sat next to. Ryanair refused to answer any questions and I had to contact them 3 times to be hung on up each time. The seat policy is you pay to allocate a seat next to you for your child. The seat allocation put both parents into the most expensive seats, the minority of the seats on the plane. To allocate a seat in the majority of the plane is Β£9 but to move my child or myself to my child’s seat would cost Β£20. I feel as a customer Ryanair do not care or show compassion and have said the safety of the child is the parents responsibility so any causes of concern are to be resolved by the parent and do not take responsibility themselves. I also feel like the company is committing fraud by allocating the most expensive seats to force parent to pay more than the normal price of a seat allocation.

Don't remember

I contacted the company early morning on the day of the delayed flight to ask to have my second flight moved to a later one, since the delay was caused by them and the second flight was with them as well, but it was denied since Ryanair does not do connecting flights. I had to buy a new ticket with them since I lost the second flight due to the huge delay of the first one. Company provided 4 euros voucher, what in an airport let you buy a small water only. I lost 121 pounds since I had to buy a new connecting flight to my final destination, and arrived home 8 hours later than initially planned, missing half day work.

Dear Sir/Madam I travelled from Budapest to London Stansted airport accompanied by my son on the 24th of September 2024. Flight number FR2517 and was rudely humiliated by your female staff at Budapest airport, in front of other travelling passengers with regard to using the priority queue and rudely told to get in the non priority queue. Her behaviour and demeanour was obnoxious towards myself. My son had booked my arrangements online for both of us travelling together and somehow an error was made, by not seeing that he had not made the booking priority for myself flying back. This was a genuine accident on his behalf as he had booked the outgoing journey to Budapest with me as priority. The female agent told me in a loud and rude manner that I could not travel, as I had a carry on bag and a shoulder bag plus a short jacket, and I would have to leave the carry on bag. I was in tears as an elderly lady on 86 years, to travel back without my small carry on bag. My son was on the other side of the glass barrier petition trying the talk with me, trying to relay information vocally on how to access his mobile with the tickets in the Ryanair app, but this was impossible to do as the distance was to far. The young male agent working with this woman, decided to help me by asking my son for the access password to his mobile to get to the tickets on the phone. When I finally was allowed to come to the barrier, he allowed my to come through and take my small carry on case with me, and board the aircraft. He was very understanding, polite and efficient in the help he gave me to board the plane without any fuss. Kind Regards. Mrs Grant

Staff ignoring landyard and me. Age 70

From: Jean Joannides Date: 15 October 2024 at 16:45:06 BST To: Subject: Complaint ο»ΏFlight FR 2151 BHX to Alicante 6 Oct 2024. I arrived at Birmingham International Airport in plenty of time for my flight. I was looking forward to 4 days in Spain. I was travelling on my own which I have done many times before. Since April 2024 when I sustained a brain injury, I have no 'visual' memory. If I can see things I can cope , but I have no recollection or memory recall so everywhere I go it’s like I’m doing it for the first time. I can’t even imagine my children’s faces if they’re not in front of me or in a photograph. I’m sure you can understand that I needed to be able to ask if I needed help in security, getting to the plane and on the journey and the same at the other end. I felt reassured when I was given a lanyard and told that all staff knew what it was for, and that anytime I needed some additional support "just ask, everyone is trained about the landyards." Unfortunately within minutes I was in the security area and pleading to the two female staff (supposedly on duty) , who are rolling about laughing and having to hang onto each other they were laughing so much! It was packed in there and very noisy. People were pushing me all over the place. I had managed to place my items in the trays, but then they disappeared. I panicked because if I can't see something it doesn't exist. I was desperate to ask them where my luggage went. I thought someone had stolen it or I had lost it. I stood in front of the two members of staff, with tears streaming down my face, I was showing them my lanyard but they couldn't stop laughing and couldn't see me even though other passengers were trying to get their attention to help me with others just barging into me. Thankfully a passenger asked a male member of the team to come to my aid. He apologised and sorted an assistance worker (Lena)to sit with me and take me to the plane. I was so grateful but very upset that what I was promised did not materialise. Those ladies were so unprofessional and a disgrace to your company. This was a trauma I could've done without. Thankfully the flight was fine although I was not prepared for what happened on landing. Abandoned AIRSIDE in Alicante for about 45 mins! Totally alone! The crew said any passengers needing assistance stay seated until all the other passengers have disembarked. I sat until the last few were getting off and then went to the front to ask if I should go down the steps or go to the back. I showed her my lanyard and explained briefly that I needed help to get through the airport. 'Yes just go down and through the door over there” as if I was a real nuisance. I looked and started to feel panicked again. I started to walk and then went back to the foot of the steps and shouted up. 'I need help, I don't know which door you mean β€œ' clasping my lanyard. So she shouted to a young lad in orange overalls to take me to the door. She went back to talk to her colleagues. He walked off in front of me at a pace. He went through the door and let it go! I'm struggling to keep up with my case and bag, but I've got to the door and when I managed to open it, he had run up a flight of stairs and was waiting at the top. He didn't offer to help me with my bags, I had to ask him if he would kindly help me. When I got to the top he then said in Spanish 'just go through the black door' as he pointed some way down the corridor. It was very late and I then realised that everyone had gone home. I was now having another panic attack. I walked for about 30 minutes with my luggage crying and frightened as I also had people waiting for me. I walked and walked and I never saw another person and I couldn't get across into the public area. I was terrified that someone would turn off the lights. Finally I turned the corner and could see a group of airport police officers in the distance but I couldn't get to them. They were about to go off duty, their faces were shocked to see me and in such a state. Thankfully they came to me and escorted me to my awaiting friends. This was an ordeal I could do without at the beginning of my short convalescence in Spain. I'm supposed to be avoiding stress until the brain damage is fully identified. I don't blame the lad in the orange overalls. He didn't have any manners and didn't realise the situation obviously but probably doesn't need them in the role in which he is employed.. However I do blame Ryanair cabin crew for not responding to me appropriately. I don't know how this should've been dealt with. It certainly wasn't to send me off on my own, whatever my needs. I would've thought that a little kindness and concern could've been shown, then none of it would've happened. The lanyards might as well be used as decoration, because no one seemed to recognise a passenger needing help, even when they are asking for it! I am sending this to Ryanair, Mitre and Aena as I don't know who is responsible for these different areas, so maybe things can be learned and identified in future training. Returned in a wheelchair and was looked after very well. However I do feel a fraud, taking up staff time when they could be caring for others.

No reason given

I had booked this flight through the Ryanair website using my personal account (nagda@kth.se), with the Flight Reservation Number (PNR) R5D8FB. Upon arriving at Ibiza airport well ahead of the scheduled departure time of 22:10, I was initially informed that the flight was delayed. However, after waiting over an hour past the departure time, I was notified that the flight had been cancelled. Despite this, the airline staff at the airport did not offer any assistance regarding accommodation or alternative flights. We were told that the airline could not provide accommodation for all passengers and were advised to make our own arrangements and seek reimbursement later. We were simply handed forms with links for refunds and compensation. This guidance was unhelpful, as I have encountered significant difficulties obtaining reimbursement for the expenses I incurred as a result of the flight cancellation. Additionally, I found it extremely challenging to file a claim for compensation through the provided online links in the forms, as the details of the cancelled flight had been removed from Ryanair's system. This made it impossible to proceed with any claims, forcing me to reach out to customer care for assistance. Due to the cancellation, I, along with two fellow passengers, found ourselves stranded at Ibiza airport late at night. It was exceedingly difficult to secure accommodation at such short notice. After making nearly 100 phone calls to various hotels, we finally found one available room, which the three of us had to share due to the limited options. This situation caused significant stress and inconvenience. There were no flights available to Seville within the next 24 hours. Given that I had planned to stay in Seville overnight before continuing my journey to Madrid, I missed all my non-refundable bookings in Seville. To avoid losing my reservations in Madrid, I had no choice but to book a direct flight from Ibiza to Madrid with another airline the following day. Ryanair did not offer any alternative flights to Madrid within the next two days, leaving me with no other option. As a result of this disruption, I incurred considerable expenses, including accommodation, transportation between the airport and hotel, and the cost of my re-routed flight to Madrid. According to Ryanair’s obligations under the "Right to Care," the airline is responsible for covering these expenses. I would also like to highlight that one of my fellow passengers, Mr. Tejas Thorat (PNR: GHHY7U), was fully reimbursed for his expenses, whereas I have not been compensated, which I find to be unfair. As a student in a foreign country, these unforeseen costs have placed a significant financial burden on me. I respectfully request that Ryanair reimburse the following expenses: 1. Hotel accommodation in Ibiza 2. Transportation to and from the airport 3. The cost of the re-routed flight to Madrid Additionally, I escalated this matter to Aviation ADR, who ruled in my favor. However, Ryanair has refused to comply with the determination, citing that the flight did not involve the UK and, therefore, the decision is not legally binding. I urge Ryanair to reconsider this position and honor the compensation determined by Aviation ADR. I kindly ask for your assistance in resolving this matter and processing the reimbursement as soon as possible.

Flight date changed

My flight date has been changed and I wasn’t informed as the email was an automated generated email through Thomas Cooke I miss a whole day of my holiday because of this and I have explored options of changing the flight dates and if I proceeded with this I’d miss another day of my holiday. I’ve asked for consolation and have been refused it which is infuriating. I was offered a refund but it is too late as I’d struggle to get back with this late of notice. I wish to be compensated for the whole day and a half of my missed holiday plus a bit on top, I paid good money for this holiday and linked it to my personal Ryanair account so you could contact me if there were any changes. I have hired a car which I’m now going it have to amend the booking changes because of your mess up. I’m furious about this a refund won’t cover my compensation for my holiday! This is unacceptable. I have explored other options and if you can get me a flight on the same time and date of my original flight I will accept.

I was reefused to get a childs seat belt.

We were supposed to travel as a family of 4. 2 adulds child and infant. As my partner took a flight few days earlier i could have my toddler in the seat beside me. When it came to landing my toddler fell asleep and I asked one of the crew members to get a belt for her so she can be on my Ε‚ap while we are landing. The foreign man has told me " she has to get out off the plane so u have to wake her up anyway" i refused and said she was actually suppose to go on my Ε‚ap through the flight. He made an angry face and he eventually did bring me the seat belt i felt very ignored through the flight. Also i fly a lot and whenever i come in on the aircraft with my baby i am 100% time asked if I need a baby belt. This time i wasnt by the tall lady in the glasses. She was so angry looking I would expect the aircraft crew to be Nice and smiley. The irish guy was very Nice and the small blonde too but the rest of them were very bad. No smiles out of them what so ever. Also when I went to the bathroom for the second time because my toddler pooped i seen the tall lady in the glasses amd dark hair making a face asking the other guy what. Am I here for and he just said she needs to change the baby again.. what is her problem is it prohibited to change the babys nappy twice on the plane on the 5 hour 20min flight. More manners guys. If you dont like your job Just change it instead of giving bad experience to customers that use the Airlines for nearly 20 years. All the Best Karol, Paulina and kids xxx

Technical problems

The airline said on the app that the delay was due to weather conditions but the team on board said it was about the fuel line and other technical difficulties. I had a dental appointment that was urgent that had to be rescheduled as the delay meant I would miss it. Ryanair only provided 4 euros in vouchers which couldn't cover any meal. I arrived home after 5pm when was due to be home by 2pm.

Waiting in a queue for an hour

We arrived 3 hours early for our flight home to EMA. We wanted to eat and look around before we boarded. Long story short. We were in a queue of people going to different destinations and although there are 6 check in desks, at one point only one was being used. Staff were coming over and calling for people going on certain flights as they had been queuing for so long they were liable to miss them. Why don’t you have gates for different destinations so that you are not keeping people waiting? Also make sure every desk is manned. We stood for an hour while staff changed shifts, and didn’t know what they were doing at some points. If staff change shifts there should be someone ready to take over. You always seem to keep your passengers waiting in queues. This not how a good airline works. Look at Jet2 and Tui, take notice that they actually know what they are doing. When we finally got to get our cases through the lady on the desk raised her eyes as she could see what a complete disaster it was. My friend and I had to rush to get food and had no time to look around. I have said I would never travel with Ryanair again after the last fiasco, but on this occasion I thought it would be better and it wasn’t. We had to smile because above the check in desks it says, Ryanair you’re caring airline….. no you definitely are not. You do not leave people standing for over an hour, yet you seem to do just that and think it’s okay. Get your act together and treat people with respect. We put the food on your table.

We finally made it home at 6 pm when we expected to be home before 3.30pm so as to enable us to do some shopping to cook for dinner. The delay forced us to immediately dine in a restaurant as we were all very hungry as the 4 euros voucher per person didn't offer much choice for lunch before boarding as airport food was inevitably more expensive and limited in choice.
