flight T2AML6 left on 23.3.25 and arrived 12 hours later in mauritius on 24.3.25, MK053 whilst on holiday air mauritius cancelled our return flight MK042 . leaving on 07.04.25 at 2125 and landing at 08.04.25 at 0700 our new flight was MK042 now leaving on 08.04.25 at 0730 and landing at around 1700 at london gatwick. There was at least a 10 hour delay between our flights and therefore had to stay an extra night in our hotel at a cost of 16,395.64 rupees. I therefore would like the REFUND of the above amount

air Mauritius cancelled my prescription booked seats

I went to check in after booking my pre booked and pre paid for seats for extra leg room. Only to find out when we checked in we were sat somewhere else. I told them at the check in desk I have paid for my seats they told me my seats were cancelled and I had had a refund. I haven't received a refund I didn't know they were cancelled. They told me someone else had booked them. How is this possible. I have emailed in through complaints over a week ago and haven't heard anything. I am disgusted that no one can't be bothered to get back to me. Air Mauritius check in desk the people have no customer services skills what so ever extremely rude and unhelpful. I will be taking this further if I do not get a refund or a reply back.

My name is Shahbaz Aminbhai Lakhani, and I am writing to formally request a refund for my travel expenses due to the unfortunate experience I encountered at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai on 26/02/2025. Flight Details: Flight Number: MK749 Scheduled Departure: 04:10 am Actual Departure: 02:45 am Despite having a valid ticket, a return flight, sufficient funds (INR 75,000 in my bank account), and confirmed hotel bookings in Mauritius, I was denied boarding. The counter staff insinuated that I was traveling for job purposes, which was not the case, and they subsequently refused me entry to the airport premises, directing the security personnel to remove me. Our connection flight was cancelled and rebooked by the airline for the next day. The airline gave us two vouchers for 15 euros (the only reimbursement so far). We incurred miscellaneous expenses while in Paris overnight (food, hotel, transportation, and warm clothes). We traveled from Mauritius Island to Florida and did not have any warm clothes with us.

The flight was initially delayed and then cancelled completely due to an engineering fault. We were housed overnight in a hotel near to the airport and told to wait until the next day, and were then put on an alternative flight the following afternoon. However, in doing so, we missed a full day and night of our holiday in a luxury hotel which had been pre-paid. We ultimately arrived at our destination with a delay of approx 26 hours. The airline have been entirely unresponsive to our repeated calls - every time we get through, they say they will put us through to the claims department and the phone just rings out.

I've repeatedly tried to contact Air Mauritius for compensation but without success. That have wound down their customer services email address, it is impossible to get through to anyone who can help on a call, and although I have completed their online form twice, I have had no response.
